First the only negative. One of the side bars on the ladder was welded on with the screw holes facing sideways. Fortunately, I have the tools and skills to cut it and welding it on the correct way. The frame is solid and I like how the wooden pieces are all held together like a rope ladder. Very easy to assemble, just time consuming. The bed squeaks a bit, but nothing crazy. Overall a great value for the price.

Did not get a chance to try out the beds- after waiting an extra 5 days- we received the box-(1)- and when we opened it and inventoried it- several key items - about 53 cross pieces were missing. Had to repack and send back.

Very nice bed, however just like another person said the top rails came damaged. Amazon won’t help at all unless you do a complete return. Sorry but that was a pain to put together. I’m not undoing and redoing it

Not sure how the top can hold 400lbs. My son is only 114 and it bends in way to much. The boards they give are just way to thin.... I'm gonna have to get another board up top just so it's more sturdy!

Easy to assemble. Some parts were slightly damaged (rails dented) due to how the bed was delivered. The packaging wasn’t the best when arrived to my house. Overall I really like my boys new bunk bed.

Did take 5 hours to assemble by myself but son is very happy and he can’t wait for his cousins to have sleep overs soon. It’s not bulky and love that trundle bed rolls out easy 8” mattress fits great under it.
