Bed platform, no springs. Solid metal, no plastic, except for non-structural tube caps. Assembly required. This could be the first Asian import item, requiring mechanical assembly, that I had absolutely no issues with. Precisely made, with good fit and finish. Strong, but not excessively heavy. Fit in the bed frame perfectly. The frame has a nice, black, powder coating. The cover is cheap, so if it shows, you may need a bed ruffle to dress it up. With our bed, the side boards hid the sides of the cover, and the mattress covered the top. No problem. Directions for assembly are not bad. The hardware is sorted and packaged. The required Hex Key wrench is supplied. Hand tighten with the supplied wrench only, or you may strip the fastener threads.

I needed a lower profile box spring for my guest room queen bed. This one was easy to order, assemble and very sturdy. My traditional wood box spring became noisy/crunchy and just didn't feel like it was a good solid support for my new mattress. So glad the new metal ones are much more solid. It also fit into the traditional queen bed rails as well. I'm going to order a King one next.

Purchased this as a foundation for a memory foam mattress. The assembly instructions are similar to what you find for Ikea items, but were not hard to follow. Everything fit together perfectly. The cover is pretty high quality.

We were trying to attach a new metal bedframe to an older wooden headboard and footboard. The bracket which the other company said would work with the metal frame did not even though it was made by the same company. We have a small stairway so we couldn't fit a traditional queen size box spring. I checked to see if they made box springs similar to the metal bed frame and found this one. We took down the metal frame and then assembled this frame in about 40 minutes. The assembly was not hard and no extra tools were necessary. This frame laid perfectly in the original bed rails and supports our new mattress very well. So far no noise. The only improvement I would recommend is to highlight the frame part on the instruction page (in a different color) so you can see what to do in each step. I would recommend this box spring if you are trying to use a wooden headboard and footboard.

This box spring was an economical and easy replacement for a broken bed support. It was packed very well, but there was one flange that was bent in the factory before being painted that we had to straighten with a hammer in order to put in the second screw in the assembly. After that fix, it was easy to assemble. Everything was labeled well, and the instructions were easy to understand.

Cons: it squeaks when I sit on it and that really bothers me and makes me feel like my bed is not quality. Not enough slats to really support the weight of my mattress. My bed does not feel as supported and I wish I opted for a typical wood box spring. Doesn’t creat the best comfort now. I would think the cover zips all the way around the box spring but it only covers the top which makes me feel like spiders could nest there. The cover smelled like stinky chemicals. Pros: easy enough to put together but I feel like I would have made a better decision paying the same price for a wooden box spring mattress. I don’t recommend it at all.

I purchased this box spring after buying a mattress that says it doesn’t require one. We slept on that mattress for a year when it started to cave in the center. So I went looking for a better mattress as well as a box spring. My new mattress wasn’t shipped immediately so we used the old one for awhile. It took my about 45 minutes to put this together. It’s simple and easy to do. When I put my old mattress back on with this support it was like it was brand new again. There was no longer a dent in the middle and it offered exactly the support we needed. It’s quiet, great support and well worth the money. I only wish I would have bought it sooner
