    • My dermatologist gasped when I showed her this extractor!
Saw some youtube beauty ladies recommend this, so purchased bc I've always trusted Tweezerman for tweezers and scissors. After a month of diligently extracting little blackheads, I was getting frustrated by the cuts they left on my face. I assumed that was just the price for removing the blackhead (which it does do!). But I was worried the teeny but many cuts would leave scars, so I took the tool to show my derm. She didn't think much upon first look. But the minute she felt it and looked closely, she audibly gasped. She told me there's really no way to use this extractor without breaking skin :( Here I am now, 2 months later with little brown parallel tic marks all over my face. They look like quotation marks which makes me laugh sometimes. I do wonder if perhaps I accidentally received a pair that they forgot to sand down (?) Who knows. Anyhow, doesnt matter bc I also learned that blackheads just come back. I'm over them. I'd rather use my energy worrying about avocado prices never going back down. ... show more

I like that these were sturdy, but they're too big, you can't see what you're doing. The cheap ones work better.

The stainless steel is so thick you can’t see what you are doing. I expected it to be very thin metal, instead it’s thick and clunky and I can’t maneuver it the way I need to

awkward to use. And left a huge red welt like mark on the area I tried to extract from.. AND didn’t even extract the black!!! Complete piece of garbage

    • Doesn’t work well. Does more damage than good. 2 stars because the idea is cool.
Was looking forward to use something like this. They are very sharp and cut through the skin. A better idea is to have something with smooth edges? I wouldn’t recommend.
