This is a good quality dresser, but there are a couple of things you have to be aware of if you're going to build it correctly. 1. As stated in other reviews, skip halfway through the instruction book and BUILD THE DRAWERS FIRST. There are two sizes of cam locks and although only the small ones can fit in the drawer assembly, both sizes can fit in the dresser assembly. If you build the drawers first, you'll use up all the small ones, and only have the large ones left over for the dresser itself. Easiest and safest way to go. 2. Download the BILT app advertised on the box (see photo). I'm pretty good at interpreting drawn instructions for building furniture, but I got completely baffled when it came to the drawer sliders. The BILT app has animated 3D instructions that you can rotate, tilt and zoom into as much as you like. Once I took a look at those instructions, I understood immediately how the drawer sliders installed, and the rest was very smooth. 3. Be the most careful when connecting the side panels to the middle panel of the dresser. It's easy to misposition them or cause them to rip out of their sockets before you have locked them in. If possible, use two people at this point. Because of all of these potential pitfalls, it's probably pretty easy to make assembly mistakes or cause some damage to the dresser during assembly. However, if you're careful and follow the BILT instructions slowly and carefully, the end result is a very nice, high quality, sturdy dresser! ... show more

I bought this in aug 2020 and it was beautiful, really liked the look. The first thing I disliked was the drawers don't pull out more then half way so it made using the dresser very hard because anything stored in the back was not easy to get. It's not like other dressers where you can pull thr drawers in and out. They STAY in. That being said I used it for my daughter's room and it only lasted 2 years before the hardware on the drawers fell apart due to the wear and tear or pushing and pulling to try to get clothes from the back of the drawers. I wouldn't recommend this dresser unless you're looking for something temporary for a short amount of time. Personally I think it was a waste. Unfortunately my dresser was damaged upon arrival and I didn’t see it until it was time to place the top piece onto the assembled frame. I’m disappointed with that for a few reasons as I’m not willing to take it apart and send it back. Here is why: 1. The instructions this comes with are picture drawings without any words whatsoever describing the instructions or parts. 2. Due to the instructions being picture only...this took hours and hours and hours to assemble. 3. All the hardware comes in one bag mixed together which takes times to separate and count out (which I highly recommend doing if you order this dresser. 4. I failed to do a proper inspection of the top of the dresser as it really did not occur to me to flip it flop it and double check the corners (where it’s smashed obviously from packaging and shipping) 5. I had already broke down the boxes it came in and all the Styrofoam as well. Pros: 1. It’s sturdy once completed. 2. It would be beautiful if it weren’t damaged 😩 3. It’s exactly what I was looking for at the right price. I’m just hoping the seller discounts the price for me by at least half due to the damage (doubtful but we’ll see) 4. I do absolutely love the color (coffee) Overall if it weren’t for the damage to this dresser upon arrival I’d have given this at lease 4 stars for final product review....however, I would not recommend buying this dresser if you’re not familiar with building furniture due to the fact the instructions are poorly made and have absolutely zero direction. You legitimately have to guess if that’s the correct part. It took quite a few hours to assemble and that’s only because I’ve assembled a couple dressers in my life prior to ordering this one (fortunately those dressers came with proper instructions) Pics uploaded of damage...I covered it with my Vikings flag for now and will go buy the wood filler and some stain for the corner and hope it turns out. Good luck if you ordered this product, hopefully yours isn’t damaged and the company decides to provide sone better assembly instructions. ... show more

    • Great dresser, if you keep in mind...
Most of what the other reviewers are saying is true, but I think their expectations might be a little high for this price point. As a veteran of putting together furniture from the big blue building brand, I wasn't surprised at what this was for the price paid: - Yes, the instructions are pictures only, but they're not indecipherable as long as you're patient - Yes, all the pieces are in one bag and need to be separated out, but very few are similar and you should have no problem separating them. In addition, there were extras of several of the pieces, which was nice to see even though I ended up not needing them. - Yes, some of the components are particle board and not as sturdy, but the frame is very solid and there were no pieces that I was concerned with not holding up over time. - Also, the drawers aren't removable without unscrewing one screw (they're not tilt-remove like some other furniture is). I'm rating this 4 out of 5 because it does have the shortcomings mentioned, and it's not for someone who's looking for top quality or a quick, detailed step by step walkthrough for assembly. However, if you're willing to take your time, pay close attention to the pictures (particularly which screws go in which holes), be careful if you have to undo something you misunderstood, and have reasonable expectations, this provides tremendous value for the price. ... show more
