These little lights are super easy to install (about 5 minutes each) and are very bright. I was replacing 60w standard lights and these are much brighter. I really like that one can adjust the color temperature. I can't stand yellowish 'soft white" and these go to 6500° bright white. Exactly what I wanted. I really like the look of these fixtures as they match the style of other LED fixtures I have in the bedrooms. The light is plenty bright for illuminating the kitchen sink, which is where I mounted it. I settled on the 2700K color temp as the cooler temps seemed a bit harsh. This was very easy to install, and it took a few minutes for the LEDs to reach their full brightness, but after they did, the light quality was quite nice. They provide more light than I expected, and definitely more than the previous 60W fixture. The biggest problem I have with these is that they seem to run really hot. I contacted the seller, and they contacted the manufacturer, and they said they did not experience excessive heat. I measured the temperature at the "base" of the fixture, which is where the LED circuitry is mounted, and average operating temperature is 135-140F. When I asked what operating temperature the manufacturer measured, I never got a response. The fixtures in my bedroom are 15", and they do not get above 90F. From what I've been able to find in searches on the Internet, this temp shouldn't be a fire hazard, but it seems to be a bit higher than it should be for a LED fixture. ... show more
