I love my Turtlebox. Yes, it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. Sound is awesome! We have overhead, wired speakers on our patio and I don't even mess with them anymore. Just pull out the Turtlebox and set it wherever I want to. I usually run it at about half volume so I don't blow out the neighbors. Have taken it to the beach, camping trips, vacations, it's easy to transport. The best was using at my son's little league baseball games for walkout music. The other teams had these dinky speakers. I rolled up with this small speaker that I sat next to my lawn chair that would blast music loud enough for the outfield to hear it well. Spend the money, you can make more. I bought the white because I was concerned about heat if it was sitting in the sun. Turns out, I don't think that was necessary. My son bought the camo and doesn't have any issues. ... show more

For $200 less, I would choose a turtle box every time now that I’ve listened to both units comparing against soundboks. This speaker has great sound and can be very load. Easy to connect to phone and play music. Looks good and very durable. We use it pool side, on the boat and when listing to music in the house. We use this more now than Alexa. Great buy. Must have. Thinking of buying a second one!
