I love that these are made specifically for XBOX. I have never had an issue with these Turtle Beach headsets, besides of course, they don't last forever because of normal wear and tear, and I do occasionally have to replace them. This is the fourth headset I've purchased. The headsets I've replaced were because one, the charging port eventually broke and no longer would charge. Another headset, the mic cut in and out, I did have it for two years and that was the first problem I had with it. A third headset, I broke the earpiece completely off of the headset, but that was my fault, and it actually held up really well because it only broke after I dropped and tore at it several hundred times. This headset does use a dongle which I don't normally like, but it connected without any problems so I was fine with it. The sound is great as always, and I love that I can hear how much noise I am making and whether or not people can hear the sounds other people in my house are making when I'm using my mic. I also love being able to adjust the sound of the game and the people I'm playing with separately without going into my settings. Just roll a dial and you are all set. Do keep in mind that it can be painful on your ears after several hours. Otherwise, I would recommend this headset and I would purchase it again without any qualms. ... show more

I think this headset was definitely worth the higher price tag. It's very comfortable, the ear pads fit completely around my ears without crushing them. I tend to charge frequently so I'm not sure how long the battery will go but it's had no problems going multiple days without charging. As far as connection, it's stable and reliable, no complaints there. However, I'm playing on PC and the USB dongle is pretty big, when on my laptop I do have to be cautious not to drop anything on it and snap it, probably better suited for a stationary PC/console but I'm still very happy with the headset itself. There isn't any RGB to deal with and the design doesn't look too edgy, I would consider wearing these in public if my earbuds broke or something, which I'd normally never consider with most gaming headsets. The best feature is the flip-to-mute microphone. It folds into the earphone body and stays securely but is also easy to flip out to talk. Sometimes you need to mute quickly and don't want to fumble around with tiny buttons that you can't see so flipping the microphone back up takes a split second and also makes a little sound to confirm you're muted. I can't imagine not having this feature on a headset now. Sounds quality is solid, you can definitely feel the depth in music and sound effects. Volume is good, there is also a separate volume scroller for the microphone. I haven't pushed the range but it's great up to 15 feet or so. Overall a great headset I'd say is worth the price due to the flip-to-mute microphone alone. The build quality is there, nothing feels cheap or flimsy, they definitely feel premium when you hold them. I do wish the USB dongle was a little more compact but that's the only negative at all. This is by far the best gaming headset I’ve owned. The sound quality is incredible. They’re comfortable and I like that the mic is retractable. It’s also versatile and compatible with multiple gaming platforms. I usually buy a black pair and then spray paint my headphones, because up until now, Turtle Beach never sold these in a cute girl color. Well hallelujah they finally have a pink headset and they are beautiful! So happy! Bravo Turtle Beach! Lets see more girly colors in the future 😉 ... show more

Turtlebeach used to be my go to for gaming. This headset had a long list of issues. Not as customizable as other headsets. You get 3 programed modes that doesn't change much. It picks up most of the background noise and can drown out your voice. When connecting to xbox, you cannot change the settings through xbox. So no way to remove background noise.
