Okay, here’s the deal: this, like most “briefcase” record players would be considered junk by any audiophile. The entire movement can be bought in China for about 6 bucks, and then put in all kinds of cases. The stylus isn’t a standard size, so the two the send you is the only two you can get. The sound sucks, and the audio outputs only work sometimes, and the tracking force cannot be adjusted, meaning you end up wearing out record grooves way faster than a good turntable. This all being said, if you want a decent beginner record player for a gift to a child, or just something for you to play your old junk records on in the garage while you fix your car, this player works well enough. I would say it is a good way for you to get just enough of the record audio experience that you will start wanting a better system, or you will use this thing once and think records aren’t worth the hype. Either way, here is the bottom line: it’s a mass produced, cheap, low quality turntable that works most of the time, and is only suitable for gifts or environments where you don’t really care about sound quality. ... show more

    • Amazing deal especially for a beginner
Since my family has always been a big fan of LP records, I wanted to have my own turntable as well. For a novice like me, this was an ideal pick. The product was as described on the platform. It came with adequate packaging to ensure that it was not damaged at all. Delivery was surprisingly quick for the fact that it was an international shipment. Overall am extremely happy with the product. The fact that it has Bluetooth connectivity as well as USB/SD card options sweetens the deal so much more. The sound quality from the inbuilt speakers is great. Although while using the vinyl records, I prefer to connect them to external powered speakers to get the full range of sound amplified. Am using an Aux cable for this purpose (RCA to RCA) and found that the inbuilt speakers also play with the aux connection active. This allows you to place the powered speakers is such a location so that you get a real 3D sound experience (subject to the capability of the active speakers of course). I remembered how much I enjoyed listening to vinyl records with my mom growing up, so I had been looking for a record player to listen to records with my son and hopefully grow his love of music. Being a new parent is a lot like being a college student- money is tight and you never have enough room. This record player is soooooo cute and looks really high quality. The sound is okay, but what can you really expect from tiny speakers? Make sure you take the plastic cover off the needle.
