I wasn't sure this would serve a purpose other than aesthetic, but I live in a dry static-y area so I thought Id give it a go. Happy to say that I can actually tell a difference in sound! Less static noise, in particular. I can't tell a huge difference in bass, but that's on me. It may very well have improved but I don't really care to test it - it sounds good to me and I don't like poor quality sound fwiw lol. I will say that my new records sounds crisp and clean compared to the orignal mat though. AND the acrylic doesn't stick to my records like the felt (ugh!). Nice minor upgrade!! Mileage may vary but I would recommend if you're noticing static or live in a dry climate. It's not necessarily going to change your life, but for less than $20 it definitely adds a clean look to your setup in addition to providing better sound at a very reasonable price.

Replacing my foam pad with this platter i immediately noticed a richer sound. I cranked up some Pink Floyd and the bass indeed sounds richer and more punchy/vibrant. Looks great too. Very happy with it! I may get a yellow one just for variety

Bought to replace stock felt slipmat on an at-lp60x. The original felt one came off whenever I took a vinyl off and also collected a lot of dust. Really got this to eliminate it sticking to every vinyl and to upgrade the look of the player when people look at it, but product works better then expected. Listening to the same record with this right after listening to it with the felt mat, the base is slightly tighter and the record has slightly less static noise during low listening volumes. Highly recommend for a low cost upgrade for anyone with a lower priced record player.

Reasonable price, quick delivery. Have 5 other platter mats and this is probably a little better than the cork and rubber one that cost a lot more. In an interesting and unexpected turn the edge of it glows like it is lighted so pick your color and enjoy. Note a disc weight or clamp is strongly advised.

This is a really nice eye appealing turntable matt. Great color and well made. But I did not like how deep they machined the center section where the label on the record sets. It's a little to deep and if you use a weight on your records it tends to cause a very slight bowl shape. No a deal breaker but be aware. No improve in sound quality I could detect. But everyone is different. I just see it as eye candy and no real change in any performance.

This is the coolest looking thing in the known universe. It looks like it’s battery powered. You notice it the second you walk in the room. It stays even if it makes the record sound horrible. I got the cool center weight also. Probably helps get better sound also.
