Yes, both of the Manatee and Beluga series swimming pool heat pump can use with saltwater pools The pool heat pumps are compatible with most of existing pool equipment. Manatee 20,000 BTU is no professional help needed. It comes with hose clamps, hose connectors, and an installation guide; simply connect hoses and plug it in to use. Beluga 50,000 BTU and 75,000 BTU is required a professional installation. Durable design and precision engineering for years of reliable use. We deliver exceptional service with fast, reliable support. Unscrew the orange upper cover counterclockwise. Lift the filter housing cover. Note the position of the red rubber ring; ensure it is placed in the groove on top of the pump body. Insert the filter cartridge into the pump body. Put the chamber cover back on and tighten the orange cover clockwise. Connect the hoses as shown in the manual illustration. Note: Connect the pump inlet to the lower pool outlet, and the pump outlet to the higher pool inlet. Otherwise, the machine will lack power. Tighten hoses with clamps using a screwdriver (not included). Open both wall plug caps inside the pool and install strainers in each. Q: Will this pump be strong enough for my pool size? A: With a 530 GPH capacity, it provides circulation and filtration for above-ground pools up to 4,200 gallons. Please note that this pump is for use with storable pools only. Q: How often do I need to clean or replace the cartridge filters? A: For better efficiency, rinse the cartridge weekly. We recommend replacing the filter cartridge approximately every 2 weeks or when cleaning is ineffective, depending on the frequency of use and the degree of dirtiness. Q: Will this system fit my existing plumbing and unions? A: Please check the size fit before purchase. We provide one 3.9 ft water pipe and three (each) 2.6 ft water pipes, all with an outer diameter of 1.25 in. Please note that the pump inlet is connected to the pool outlet, and the outlet to the pool inlet. Q: Does it include everything for setup? A: Package includes user manual x 1, 3.9 ft water hose x 1, 2.6 ft water hose x 3, hose connector x 1, pool strainer x 3, hose clamp & screw x 8, and cartridge filter x 1. You only need a screwdriver and a roll of waterproof sealant tape. Q: Is it safe to run the pump while people are in the pool? A: This pump is ETL-certified and equipped with a GFCI safety plug, which provides an instant power shutoff in the event of an electrical fault. For optimal performance and safety, ensure the filter chamber is filled with water before turning it on.
