Last yr my partner purchased me a Breville Bambino for my B-Day b/c I religiously spend💸 at ☕️ shops. I currently reside in LA where coffee goes anywhere from $7-14 / cup 😖 Even after the generous 💝 I still found myself out-and-about buying coffee 😬 About a month ago my Breville machine started acting out. The unit is still under warranty, however their customer service is anything but desirable. Long-Story-Short, I came across the Tuni E2 Gen3 espresso machine w/ 58mm Brew System. Immediately I loved the clean, modern design and looked it up on YouTube. First of all, the packaging is on point making it easily accessible right outta the box. The pre-packed accessories are off-the-chain, with an included Dosing Ring which normally is a separate purchase. It also was accompanied by a heavy-duty steel tamper elevating the experience to professional level. It’s beyond a game-changer for me and way surpasses my expectations of what a good espresso could taste like. And far superior quality to the over-priced and minuscule quality of the Bambino. Not to mention the Bambino is mostly made of plastic in comparison to this beauty. No x-tra caffeine needed when deciding to make this purchase 😋❣️ And more dollar bills in my pocket now that the espresso is sooo good, I don’t feel the need or longing to have that rich-bold taste from the shop. If I had to give E2 any negative feedback-back it would be that the water tank is estechtically pleasing to the eye but narrow to hand-wash. Along with the steam cup - it too is kinda short and narrow - however it does have the measurements along the rim which is nice. One more thing to point out - this machine will take a few minutes to warm-up…not that instant gratification like Breville …but I’ll take a slow burn b4 plastic any day ❤️🔥 See 📸 for reference:

This is the second espresso machine I own and it's very easy to use! I love the one button operation and that it makes decent coffee with regular coffee grounds. It's not as bulky and heavy as the other machine I own which is nice. The white color looks pretty and fits in nicely with the rest of my countertop appliances. I wouldn't say this is for a beginner as the instruction manual doesn't explain everything like when to use different kind of cups to brew the coffee. Would be nice if there are more simpler directions and/or videos. It is also hard to remove the filter from the portafilter by using just fingers. I find it easier to remove if you take a small spoon and wedge it in between. Overall easy to operate with just one button and easy to rinse out.

After using it for espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and iced drinks, I found that it offers a useful combination of temperature control, steam power, and a full-size brewing system. However, it also requires some practice and regular maintenance to achieve consistent results. One of the main advantages is the 58mm brew system. This is a common commercial-style size, and the wider basket allows the coffee grounds to be distributed more evenly when properly prepared. The portafilter feels substantial, and the machine has a more serious overall feel than smaller compact models. That said, the larger basket means preparation matters. Grind size, coffee dose, distribution, and tamping pressure all affect the final shot. Users who expect perfect espresso by simply filling the basket and pressing a button may need time to adjust their technique. The PID and NTC temperature-control features are useful because espresso extraction is sensitive to water temperature. During testing, the machine appeared to maintain a reasonably stable brewing temperature once it was fully warmed up. This is our first "real" espresso machine, so there was definitely a learning curve. The presentation right out of the box is excellent, and I was impressed by how complete the package is. It includes the 58mm portafilter, four filter baskets (single-wall and dual-wall, in both single- and double-shot sizes), a stainless steel tamper, a dosing ring, a milk pitcher, a cleaning kit, a spoon/tamper, and a user manual. It's nice not having to buy a bunch of accessories separately. I also really like the machine's footprint. It doesn't take over the entire countertop, yet it feels solid and well-built. Where we struggled was understanding the different filter baskets. As complete beginners, we found that terms like single-wall and dual-wall meant absolutely nothing to us. We accidentally used espresso ground too fine in the dual-wall basket and couldn't understand why almost no coffee was coming out. Then we did the opposite and used a coarser grind in the single-wall basket. At first glance, all four baskets look similar from the top, so we didn't even notice that the dual-wall versions have only one tiny outlet underneath. We even ended up buying a small coffee scale to weigh our coffee because, as beginners, it gave us a much more consistent starting point. After watching several YouTube videos, everything finally clicked, and now the machine makes excellent espresso. I do wish the manual had included a simple chart explaining which basket to use with which grind size. We also reached out to customer support to ask for help but never received a response, which was disappointing. Once we understood how everything worked, using the machine became much more enjoyable. The pressure gauge is helpful, the steam wand is powerful, and it's nice being able to pull a shot and steam milk without waiting. One other thing worth mentioning is the drip tray. There's a little red float that gradually rises to indicate when the tray is full. We almost discovered that feature in a messy way! In the end, this has turned out to be a very capable espresso machine that produces great coffee. I think complete beginners should expect a little trial and error before they get the hang of it. Once you do, it's a rewarding machine whenever you're in the mood for a really good cup of coffee.

Excellent addition to my coffee setup, and it comes from a brand I already trust based on prior experience with their products. I paired this with the Tuni coffee grinder I acquired previously, and the two work together seamlessly. It really feels like they were designed to complement one another, which makes for a great one-two punch in my overall coffee routine. Having both pieces from the same brand has made the whole process feel more cohesive, from grinding to brewing, and it's become a nice, reliable complement to my daily routine rather than something I only use occasionally. It's also great being able to treat guests to quality, café style espresso drinks at home instead of just serving them basic drip coffee when they visit. The machine is not noisy at all as it delivers what I would say it's normal experience from a home expresso machine and it's very easy to use once you get used to the process. I suggest doing some online search on videos. Experimenting with different coffee flavors is what I'm looking forward to. The build is as expected from Tuni and it gives me the confidence that the materials used will keep this machine with us for a long time and reliability and durability are always a key factor when considering the price and the value for the money in these type of investments. If you already have other Tuni gear or you're in the process of building out a proper home espresso setup, this machine is a strong pick that's earned a permanent spot on my counter.
