2023 Passports, for some reason, do not support wireless Apple Car Play. I thought this device would be great and allow me to have wireless Apple Car Play. Well, it does. Sorta. There have been times where it did not pair and other times the connection just dropped. Now, I do have a Honda and Hondas seem to be persnickety when it comes to anything pertaining to their infotainment system. I had a '23 Pilot EXL that I traded and 80% of the reason was the infotainment system was crap. So, I am not sure if the blame is with the device or the vehicle. When it works, everything is fine. But it is not 100% reliable with my vehicle. I read all the reviews and noticed most of the reviews were from AMAZON VINE users. Either no one is buying this product, or if they are they are not writing a valid review. There are a ton of wireless car play devices being offered on Amazon and this is just one of many. This almost never connects to my phone or the car. It will be plugged in and I will have to unplug it and plug it back in. It decides to stop working while I am always in the middle of a work call. For as much as this thing costs I expected it to work. On the off chance that the receiver connects to my car it won’t connect to my phone and I have to manually connect it under the Bluetooth settings. Seriously don’t waste your money with this. Installation took seconds. Literally just plug into your vehicle. Connectivity was easy, just follow the instructions and you're good to go! There is a bit of a lag (one, maybe two, seconds...nothing extreme), but I attribute that to the fact that it's Bluetooth and not 'wired'. Would I buy again? Absolutely. It's so nice to not have to plug my phone into a cable to use Apple CarPlay. ... show more

I wanted to be able to use CarPlay in my '19 Crosstrek without using my charging cable, especially when I am making deliveries. I didn't know these were a thing, and when I found it, I was excited to use it. It was super easy to install and connect to. I wish it would pair with Android Auto and CarPlay as me and my partner have different OS. Because it does not support Android Auto, I do have to unplug it anytime my boyfriend uses the car. If I don't, this device gets prioritized for the display and he is unable to connect to Android Auto using his charging cable. This can be inconvenient.
