These Tums taste pretty nice and work well for me when I occasionally get heartburn late at night. I'll take two and find immediate relief, so I stick with Tums brand. I like the value; they are not overly expensive at all. I love the flavor and am grateful for the relief it provides. I feel better as soon as I am done chewing the tablets. I've been using these for years and they are my preferred form of Tums. (Boy I miss that hot cocoa flavour, though.) Safe, good value, and everything you want. Why they don't have a flip-top lid is beyond me.

These TUMS are right on the edge of being candy so watch out for kids using them. Like all medications, keep them locked up. The label has pretty colors, the container is astonishingly easy for a toddler to open, and the tablets are colorful and sweet. All of these aspects make it a good antacid but also make it risky in a house with children. In a house with adults, these are just fine. I have treated acid reflux and simple indigestion with these with mixed results. Taking the recommended dosage does not seem to have a desirable effect so maybe there is more sugar and wax than there is antacid chalk powder. Its fine. These were available on the Subscribe and Save so that is why I chose them. I am not dissappointed as they do the job, but doubling the dose seems to be necessary. ... show more
