I go through periods when I must have this medication, so I keep a couple boxes on hand at all times to make sure I don’t run out. I sometimes have to take more than recommended (not saying to do that, consult with your doctor first), but it always provides relief, typically sooner rather than later. I have to ask my husband to take this (usually 2) a few times a month before bed or I am not able to sleep in my bedroom. It seems to work well within 30 minutes.

I’ve tried a few different gas relief products over the years, and Gas-X Maximum Strength Softgels are the ones I keep coming back to. They’re small and super easy to swallow, which I really appreciate, especially when I’m already feeling uncomfortable. The biggest plus for me is how fast they work — usually within 10 to 15 minutes, the bloating and pressure start to go down. It’s a big help after heavy meals or when something just doesn’t sit right. I’ve never had any side effects, and they don’t upset my stomach like some chewables have in the past.
