This fits right over the bedroom door. (Closet is a pocket door, so it obviously won’t work there.) I use it as an adult to set out my gym clothes to reduce excuses to skip the gym for my early morning class. The double pocket allows me to put undergarments in the side and outer clothes in the large pocket. I f I had another door in my room that worked I have a second for my post workout outfits as well. When using for an elementary child, they probably wouldn’t be able to reach Monday and Tuesday without assistance (parent or step stool). Yes, Monday may be too high for your child to reach with the door hangers, but 3m hooks work just fine. The slots are large enough for a size L pair of jeans and a size large hoodie (kids). Smaller pocket is perfect for socks and underwear. Purple is grogeous!
