I immediately used this on 3 chef knives and noticed an immediate difference. Using the 15 degree angle produced significant increase in sharpness. It does make a bit of a mess with fine metal shavings but this is to be expected. It’s extremely easy to use. Only complaint is getting the knife point can’t be a bit challenging but other than that I’m extremely happy with it.

Works as promised. You do need to be patient as with all sharpening, but if you take your time you'll get sharp blades. Would recommend a leather strip and polishing compounds to finish with.

Still working with it to get “razor” sharp edges. But it’s fast and easy to get a great edge. Only complaint is on smaller knives the angle holder is so tall the blade sinks below the edge of the holder. Had to find a way to prop up the blade. A thinner edge guide would be a welcome addition for smaller (thinner) blades.
