I have to say I was genuinely impressed with how quickly the blade came to sharpness. I tested on a knife that was still fairly sharp and with just a few passes it exceeded what my previous sharpener was doing with dozens of passes. One of the best entry level rolling sharpeners. This has one side removable disc for higher grade sharpening stones like the available 3000 and 6000. This works perfectly fine. In five minutes a side I could sharpen the knife to near new. Next time I will order the extra discs and the leather strap to make it a complete set. I am COMPLETELY satisfied. It has improved my confidence of sharpening a knife without damaging it. Perfect design.
