  • LOVE T&N Mint Matrress! BUY IT!! You won’t regret it!
Style: 2020 Mint Mattress Size: King
BUY IT!!! We did research, looked at reviews, comfort, good value, etc and this mattress is so high rated everywhere, winning rating awards! Our T&N Mint (king) mattress was comfortable from the first day!! There’s no “breaking in period”. There’s great side support on the edges too for when you sit on the edge of the bed. I just don’t feel like I’m sitting on the edge of a foam mattress. It’s not something that looks like sinking memory foam with body outline. It exceeded expectations!! It’s easy to set up, we just watched the short video to make it even easier. Seriously, it’s so easy, five minutes. The T&N tag should face the bottom of your bed. I don’t sleep hot on this mattress either, just always comfortable. I’m a side sleeper and I prefer softer beds, my husband sleeps on his back and prefers firmer beds. We both love it! It’s a fantastic value, looks great, wonderful cover on it. The cover helps with more cool sleep and is antimicrobial too! You sleep at a comfortable temp. It’s a pretty mattress. We had it delivered to our front door, (remember to put this in “delivery instructions” area) but there are many different delivery options, even with prime. (I don’t want people inside.) Just know the box is heavy, but has handle holes, easy size. (Check what delivery/set up works for you.) My husband and son got the box upstairs quickly. We bought it during Amazon Prime Days and saved even more. (We bought a new T&N Mint Mattress for our son too!) We ordered these after seeing our daughter’s T&N Original Mattress. I sat on the edge of her bed and it passed the test, so I was sold!! It’s THE most comfortable bed!!!!! You won’t regret buying it!! We’re really happy with our purchases! ... show more

  • Best Mattress After 40 Years of Searching & saved $6000 buying online vs local retailer!
Style: 2020 Mint Mattress Size: California King
This review could be a book. I have been on the search for the “perfect mattress” and box spring for over the last two years. At 40 years old I have a bad lower back, shoulders, and mid back. I could not find the perfect mattress, after going through mattresses about every six months. I finally gave in and went to the local Mattress Firm. I researched every bed and was sold on Tempur-pedic. At this point the price didn’t scare me, I needed something that would work. I stopped in to make the final purchase and I was looking at roughly $8000 out the door. There was one problem, they would not put my Tempur-pedic mattress on the same invoice as a mattress firm adjustable bed frame, it would void the warranty. Something sounded fishy to me, if I’m purchasing a bedframe from the retailer and the mattress from the same location, But it was going to void my warranty on my Tempur-pedic, something didn’t sound right with an $8000 price tag & having two separate invoices from one major retailer. For a purchase price of $8,000 I walked out. I started researching mattresses online and read about every single one of them from firmness, to customer service, to how they held up, etc. I found Tuft & Needle having the most satisfying customers with overall best customer service. The next day I called Tuft & needle and quizzed them on their beds, customer service, warranty and everything else I could think of. They couldn’t have been more friendly and had the answers to every question. I understand Tempur-pedic has the name in the mattress business, but things do change and I’m one who prefers to buy online. It’s honestly hard to buy a large ticket item online without trying it first, or knowing the comfort/firmness. For the price difference, we all understand online doesn’t have the retail buildings, commissions to pay employees, employees themselves, overhead, insurance, you get the point. I got home that evening and made my purchase online. I bought off Amazon because I know they back everything, instead of buying direct from Tuft & Needle. The order arrived on time, we set it up in minutes, I was sleeping on it within 2 to 3 nights from my order date. It’s been about three months now, and after 40 years of my life I’ve never been so satisfied with a mattress/bed. I’m embarrassed to say, I look forward to going to bed every night. There are some mornings I roll over and don’t even want to get up. I honestly have never been so comfortable in my life! I was nervous about “would it be too firm or too soft”. The Tempur-pedic was perfect and I was hoping it would be somewhere around that firmness. The Mint was exactly what I was hoping for. My back pain is slowly disappearing, and this mattress has completely changed my life in many ways. I absolutely have no pain in the mornings, and my back and neck pain is slowly going away. Furthermore, this bed is absolutely incredible, as it’s the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Let me also add, I’m not getting paid for this post, I just know the research I went through to find the perfect bed and I want to share my experience with someone going through the same situation. Forget the retailers mark up, $8000 verse $1000, it was a roll of the dice on what I would be receiving. I couldn’t be more happy and I didn’t sacrifice a dollar. We all understand online sales versus retailers, and if we cut out the retailer we get the hot deals. We will be buying our kids a Tuft and Needle mattress soon, as we believe a good nights sleep, leads to a great day! So at the end of the day, we spent on average $2000 total getting the mattress of our dreams, a better bed frame with massage, tilt, lights, etc. versus paying $8000 with poor customer service and multiple invoices for whatever the reasoning was they couldn’t explain at Mattress Firm. We are so happy with Tuft & Needle, love our bed, and saved a ton of money! You won’t be disappointed, make that purchase at Tuft & Needle! ... show more

  • Tuft & Needle and I have a different definition of the word Medium
Style: 2020 Mint Mattress Size: King
After needing to purchase a new pillow back in 2018, I ended up purchasing the King Tuft & Needle Foam Pillow. It ended up being the best pillow I've ever purchased and five years later has still held up. My Novaform Serafina mattress purchased from Costco back in 2014 is no longer in the same shape it was at the time of purchased, so I was waiting for Prime Day to occur to pull the trigger on a new mattress. After the experience with my Tuft & Needle Foam Pillow, I was gunning for a Tuft & Needle mattress. After doing research and reviews, it seems the Mint was the way to between the major three (original, Mint, and Hybrid) based upon it being the least firm ("stiff") of the three. Prime Day occurred, massive discounts on Tuft & Needle mattresses, and I pulled the trigger on the Mint. The mattress is okay. My Novaform Serafina mattress was labeled as "medium" whereas the Mint is labeled the same, but definitely feels more "medium firm." There's a clear difference between the two. Where as I like sinking into the mattress, you don't have that luxury with the Mint. Don't get me wrong, the Mint is a comfortable mattress; but it's not what I expected it to be - especially as a side sleeper. Doing some additional research after my indifference on the mattress, I came across information on the r/Mattress subreddit that the fact Tuft & Needle will provide you with a topper to persuade you not to return the mattress. But here's the key as I discovered from Tuft & Needle's great customer support: if you purchase the mattress directly from Tuft & Needle, they will provide you the topper at no charge. If you purchase the mattress from a third-party such as Amazon, they'll give you a 50% off discount off the topper. Purchasing the mattress topper at half off still ended up coming in at a cheaper price point than what Tuft & Needle was selling the 2020 Mint mattress at, so I still came out on top. The comments in that particular reddit thread said the Mint was a good mattress, but adding the topper made it a great mattress. I'd have to agree - the topper is a definite night and day difference. It helps the dimensions of the topper match that of the Mint, so with sheets on, you'd never realize you have a topper on your mattress. With that being said - 1. Why can't Tuft & Needle make a 14" mattress, putting the foam in the topper right at the top of the mattress (and keeping the remaining 12" the same as the Mint or Hybrid)? 2. Why didn't I just buy a cheaper mattress alongside the topper (at full price)? Would I end up at the same result? In its current state, I'm most likely going to keep the Mint + mattress topper as it's still a grand less than other alternatives I was looking at (mostly the Helix Luxe line-up). I would just like to put that word of forewarning up. If you like your mattresses more on the firm side, you'll probably love the Mint. If you need something more plush, look at a different manufactuer. ... show more
