I have been flying RC aircrafts, including planes, helicopters and drones for over 30 years, and I am extremely impressed and satisfied with the Tucok 193 MAX 2S. It is really an Awesome UAV especially at this price point, and it is suitable for both the novice to the expert flyer! It has great consistent performance in all flying modes, decent battery life and stable connectivity. The 4k camera takes crisp photos and smooth videos and the UI for the XIL MAX is very easy to learn. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the ease of use, technology and overall build quality. U bought this deibw for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. Turned out to be a waste of time and a true headache getting my refund. The drone remote dod not turn on the first one I got. Sent it back the second one took forever to start up. Then when it did come the camera stabilizer did not work. Sent it back. Took 3 weeks and multiple phone calls to Amazon still waiting g for my money. Buyer beware. ... show more

Overall this is a decent drone, but not able to recommend at a $600+ price tag. Here are my thoughts on some of the key features. Flight: It is pretty simple to get it setup for flight if you've used GPS drones before. If not, it may seem like a lot of steps to get used to at first. You can't just turn it on and go. But the controller and app work pretty well to show all the steps and if it's calibrated correctly for flight. It's stable, even in windy conditions and keeps its position pretty well. The sport mode unlocks faster and more nimble flight, but does turn off some of the features like obstacle avoidance. Overall pretty happy with how it flies. Camera: With this having the camera on a gimble and being classified as 4k, I had high hopes for the video and photo function. I'll say it is definitely a lot better than what you get on the $100-$200 drones that are 1080P or even 4k. But doesn't quite strike me as actually being a 4k quality shot. The photos are pretty clear as you can hopefully see in the pic attached. The video isn't bad either, but there is definitely some graininess and a bit of jitter when in motion. I didn't upload a video since the compression required to meet the max file size would no doubt impact the quality and not give a true representation of what you get. The gimbal is nice though in that it keeps the shot from tipping hard when moving the drone around. Functions: It of course has all the typical GPS drone functions like follow me, waypoints, auto return etc. They seem to work pretty well. It also has obstacle avoidance through use of the little R2D2 camera mounted to the top. It will stop the drone from proceeding if it detects an obstacle in the direction it's moving. Pretty cool feature that can keep you from bad crashes if you're not in a very open area or can't actually see where the drone is. And it works too. Battery life: Here's where I have a problem. They claim each battery gives 33 mins of flight time. Well, this is not even close to accurate. I fully charged a battery, put the drone into a hover at about 10 ft and wind of around 3-5 mph. After 18 minutes I got the notice on the controller that the battery was low, and then at 24 minutes the auto return feature kicked in and landed the drone. So with the minimum battery draw (hovering) this doesn't come close to the claim of 33 minutes. Also the batteries charge through a micro USB port which seem rather outdated at this point. Controller: I do like the controller. The screen on it gives you lots of vital info, and it talks to you to indicate low battery etc. Battery life on it seems a little short, but not a huge deal unless you're wanting to fly for long periods of time. Carrying case: Nice quality case that keeps everything organized and protected. Overall it's decent and definitely a step up from what you get in the $150-$200 price range. If the battery life was actually what they claim and the video quality was slightly better it would be closer to 5 stars. ... show more

    • Remote control problem
The media could not be loaded. Customer support are not easy to reach. I can't find a number to call or an email to contact. I couldn't fly it even once because of a remote control problem (i show the problem in the video). Basically, the remote was not working initially so i used their cable to charge it. After some time i removed it from the charger and tried to turn it on. The remote control didn't turn on. Then i connected it to the power bank and turn it on while connected and it turns on. Meaning that most probably the issue is with the remote battery and that i need to connect it to a power source all the time (which is not ok in my case). I want to switch the romote and give it another try but if i cannot contact tucok i will be returning it. ... show more
