Purchased less than 6 months ago. One of 4 motors has failed. Waiting on seller to respond to my claim for full warranty replacement. Otherwise it is a nice drone but it seems this model is no longer being manufactured. That is expected after a period of time, of course.

    • Not a good drone
It looks good and sturdy , it's stable on strong winds the problem that it has is if it looses gps while you flying it, it will start to fly away and do what it wants on its own . It happened to me while flying and it crashed on a tree with the obstacle avoidance it fell off 45 ft hit the ground not hard and the obstacle avoidance came off on its own. I also tried the follow me option and this drone still hit a small shed . I do not recommend it , for what this drone do it should be for $80. After receiving this item I anxiously read and familiarize myself with the instructions and controls while I set the remote and battery aside on the charger to ensure they were fully charged and ready for my longer awaited test flight, at first the battery appeared to be fully charged with all 4 blue lights flashing I left it there the remote displayed low battery in several different test flights with the longest duration being 7 minutes ... show more

    • GPS drone with great image stabilization. Takes a bit to get used to. Fights the wind pretty well.
This drone seems to have a lot of the features found in DJI drones. I flew it the first time on a fairly windy day and somehow lost the signal. We had a minor crash when attempting to get the drone to come home. No serious damage was done to the unit. Since then we have had no issues with the fly back to home feature. When you tell it to fly back home, the drone goes up pretty high and then slowly and carefully lands. You just sit back and trust the drone to do the right thing. The image stabilization is quite good. I did have some issues learning the various controls on the controller and learning when it had a GPS signal. (I am brand new to drones though) It is a lot of fun to fly when there is no wind. It fights the wind pretty well but it worries me to see it fight too hard. If it seems like it is lacking power at times it is because it is sensing an object nearby and doesn't want to get any closer to the object. (to avoid a collision) It seems to detect objects that are pretty far away. Other times it lets you get close to things like tree branches. I suppose tree branches are a tough thing to detect. The sensor for object detection must be removed and reinstalled to fit in the case. I wish it all fit back in the case without having to do this. (not ideal but it works) The case is nice. It is compact and everything has a place. You get some spare props which I am sure I will need at some point. The crash on the first flight had me worried but since then, every time I fly it I feel a little more confident. It is small but it is probably heavy enough that it needs to be registered with the FAA. (a simple and inexpensive process from what I understand) The phone mount is pretty good. I wish it held a slightly larger device. I would have likes to use a small tablet with it. The phone screen is ok but bigger would be better. I found that I need to position myself in a shaded area or block the sun with my head to see the screen better on sunny days. I have a lot of experience with RC cars and some previous drone experience with really inexpensive drones. There is a calibration process that is not super intuitive but we were able to figure it out relatively quickly. There were some YouTube videos that helped as well. It is a nice option that is comparable to some DJI offerings in price and features. Oh the battery life is really good. I was able to get close to 30 minutes on a flight in very low wind. It would be nice to have a second battery. (for when you are really into flying and it dies) 30 minutes is a lot of flying though. ... show more

    • A Powerful Drone With An Amazing Range!
The Tucok 193MAX2S is a great drone kit, it's features and function place it in the top tier of recreational drones. It has very powerful brushless motors that are one of the keys to the long battery life without giving up the performance. The brushless motors are fast to respond to input commands from the remote so the drone is very responsive in flight. Compared to older drones I own there is a noticeable difference over the evolutions of the motor, this drone really likes to turn on a dime, so to say. That is a great benefit in many ways, changing directions quickly can be the difference between crashing the drone or not. The manual could definitely be better at explaining how to calibrate the drone, and use it's other features, but it is enough to get you going and off the ground. The online manual is a but better but clearly wasn't written in English originally and the translation leaves a bit to interrupt on your own. The application is OK and works well to control the drone, but it could use some refinement to the layout of controls on screen and the way menus or functions can block the whole view, while you are in flight. The remotes has a nice layout, with most buttons in the same or similar locations to most other drones i have flown, other then gimbal functions. The remote is good at fitting a wide range of phones and the spring arms hold it in well. The joysticks have a very good feel with feedback throughout their range. The built in display is very useful and displays well day or night, it gives a great amount of information about the drones current status. The drone includes an Obstacle Avoidance system that can be be bit over protective at times, but I would rather that then letting me crash it! It does work well to identify obstacles and take action if needed, a nice thing for peace of mind when flying as a new pilot. The 193MAX flies amazingly well, with very rapid lift when needed and great overall flight control, it is very responsive so it willow you to push your flying skills. It has a great set of features for newer pilots as well as experienced pilots, like return to home. That can come in handy with a drone that has a range like this ones 2.5 miles! It takes a little getting uses to having a drone that can operate that far out of my sight, so I like having that option to make the return flight easy. It does seem to fly at less than fly speed when in Return to home mode, so It may seem like its taking too long, but its not, it slowly makes it way home every time. The battery life is outstanding with most of my flights giving my right around 30 minutes per battery no matter how fast or slow I fly. Overall this a an excellent drone kit for most anyone. It has features and modes that will suit everyone from beginner to an advanced pilot, includes everything you need to fly except your phone and the FAA registration, as this drone is over the .5 pound limit it does need to be register to use, but it is a very simple process. The drone comes in a very nice storage case with room for everything you'll need and will keep you drone safe when not in use. ... show more
