Great upgrade from butyl. Just swapped my son’s 24” full suspension mountain bike from butyl to these tubes and they are fantastic. Light and durable. They hold air great. I have tried “bike tube brand” also and they were terrible. These tubolitos are fantastic and worth every penny.

works darn good as an air holding device. I'm old fart bmxer who only rodes transitions ( dont judge), no failures w these unless I case hard. ( it happens) .. with weight weenie KHE 2.2 tires, I run about 60psi in these (180lb body weight) and they work darn good. Not any better or worse than a regular tube or the inexpensive Ride Now lightweight tubes , they all perform as expected.As a plus, I dig the presta valve cuz it matches all the big wheel bikes , makes it easy to keep everything pumped up. Giant (brand) makes some nifty adapters to fill the gap in your rim, hit upyour local Giant dealer.

I bought two for my BMX bike. One works great the other has a leak through the valve core. I never rode the bike after mounting, so there isn't any puncture. I mounted them by hand and was very careful. I've worked on bikes for 40+ years, so I'm familiar with tire and tube mounting. I tried tightening the valve core, but it still won't hold air. It's really weird because it will hold the air at 70psi for about an hour, but then it just gives way and goes completely flat. These TPU tubes seem to be a really expensive gamble. When they work they're sweet and pretty reliable. They just need to figure out the weakness in the valve. It seems to be a common theme with these.

The tubes I received did have Presta valves so that is probably what you'll get if you orders these. I prefer Presta valves. I installed the tubes on wheels for a 24" BMX Cruiser. They are a little harder to install than regular old inner-tubes but significantly and noticeably lighter. One confusing thing is that in the paperwork they came with it says it is OK to use these with rim brakes for a BMX bike, but then on the tube itself it says do not use with rim brakes. I guess they might explode if they heat up? That would suck. It would be nice if this was straightened out and made completely clear. If they explode I will update this review! That they are lighter, more puncture resistant and hold air for longer than regular old tubes so I am trying them out. Also just fyi, once you install them in one size tire you are not supposed to use them in any other size tires. I think they stretch to shape and may not be able to stretch back. What this means is that if you install one in a 24" by 2.1 tire, you should not later use it in a 24" by 1.75 or 2.35 tire.

Very lightweight, running it on the rear and it makes it feel floaty, run it in the front makes it a bit snappier for hops. Running both gives a unique feel to the ride. Sometimes too twitchy. Works best for me on rear freecoasters to cut some weight.
