I put a 5- gallon Home Depot pale in mine and purchased the threaded Gamma pale Lid for easy access and a strong enough top to sit on for under the cushioned zip over lid. Pros- Been looking for a rigid fishing backpack and this is perfect. I used a modified kitty litter container to keep my tackle trays upright. I switched to standard 5-gallon bucket and paired it with a bucket-topper tackle tray which now makes this backpack double as a cooler for my catch while providing a sturdy seat. It offers excellent storage capacity and is genuinely comfortable to sit on. Cons- As noted in other reviews, the seat padding causes the lid to snap shut tightly, making it frustratingly difficult to pry open once you are settled. The padding should be rigid enough to serve as a standalone seat without requiring a secondary lid underneath. Carrying it as a backpack feels somewhat awkward. I would gladly pay extra for an integrated, padded hip belt to help distribute the weight more effectively during long treks. ... show more
