I love doing DIY and I want my home cozy so I know if I do it, it'll look right! I ordered this paint kit and so far I've only applied one layer and I'm letting it dry naturally for 2 hours before I begin the second coat but OMG this was so easy, not messy, everything you need including tape, plastic drop, sanding paper, and brushes were all included!!! My tub is looking amazing already! I'm so excited to see the finished results!!! There's no odor or fumes to make you choke or cause a headache! I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend if your looking to upgrade your tub without the cost of a professional or new one!!! I'll update my pictures as I finish applying the paint. It will probably take 3-4 coats to look the way I want but so worth the money!!! OMG!!! I'm so in love with my tub!!! I painted our tub 7 days ago. It did take 6 coats, but dried nicely! It seems to be a nice hard paint once fully cured. Definitely have to do multiple very light coats with the roller so that you don’t see streak marks. I will say that we did our sink as well with the provided paint brush and you could see the brush marks. So I wouldn’t recommend it for that. But the tub turned out great!! Very low smell which was a huge plus!

So far so good! Everything needed to do project was included. My shower pan is textured and this gave great coverage. I have a few drip marks but not noticeable on pan. I was ready for the fumes but there were none. Going to let it cure the whole week before using but it looks brand new!

I had an old vintage enamel cast iron sink that was in rough condition. I was fairly happy with the product. It was easy to paint on, I only used the paint brush provided and didn’t used the paint roller because of the shape of the sink. The sink does look better but the paint isn’t self-leveling so you do have to sand between each application. But even with sanding there are still brush stroke lines, maybe if I had been able to use the rolling sponge it might have been smoother. All in all, it does look better but it isn’t perfect. It took about two days to complete the painting. I taped the sink and applied a coat every 2 hours and sanded in between each coat. After I finished painting we then went out town for a week, which is the recommended curing time.

The paint is thick to where even the thinnest of layers is quickly gummed up by simple brushing. It took 6 coats, yes SIX, to get it to stop looking like trash and even then it was still very patchy. I had to use brushes b3vause the thickness of the paint just slopped it around if you used rollers and created peaks and points. The only thing in the kit that was even useful was the plastic cover with painters tap on one end. That actually came in handy. I let this paint sit untouched for 2 weeks and never used my tub, nothing. And the pic on this review is what simply running my hand across the surface did: created a HUGE hole where it all just started peeling. It's not doing that on flat spots, so I guess the paint simply cannot handle curves. This is by far the worst looking tub paint I think I've ever seen. And the kicker is that once you mix the paint, you have to toss it after 12 hours so you can't keep any around for touch ups. So if I want to fix this, I have to buy an entirely new kit which is just ludicrous for a tub that water hasn't actually seen yet and an additional week was given to cure. Shameful scam product. Save your money on a better brand or a professional.

I just bought a condo and I wanted to personalize somethings. But the bathtub was a HOT MESS! How the previous owners lived here with this bathroom is beside me because it looked like an unused gas station shower. I wanted to burn it and install a brand new unit but they are pricey. So I did some research and bought this kit and an additional spray tile kit of another brand from Home Depot. I prepped the tub by washing it a million times; literally I cleaned the bathtub/shower for 2 days straight. I also used a scrapper to remove any residue, scum, or cleaning supplies. I used a tact cloth several times to ensure it was clean of debris or dirt. I taped off everything I didn’t want to be painted over. I used a soft roller not the roller from the kit because it was too stiff and short. I followed the instructions and mixed the paint but I stirred it for about 4 minutes. It goes on thin the first coat. I did my best to paint in one direction but also using a brush to catch the drips. I decided not to worry about getting close to the sides because I bought 2 tile spray can to clean up the areas a little hard to paint in one direction without leaving streaks. I had enough to do 2 coats on just the tub and one full coat on the shower walls. I let it dry for 2 hours per each coat. The next day I spray painted the entire shower using a brush to catch the drips. Boy was I amazed with the outcome especially compared to what it looked like before. If you need or want to save money and enjoy rolling your sleeves up, getting a little dirty, and expressing your creativity then go ahead and give it a try. I had anxiety up until the moment I started painting. Once I stared I was thoroughly enjoying myself and loved seeing the transformation.
