I bought the one with the rainbow peacock on the roll, rainbow Shiney color change. It's very nice, I love the prints I've been making. I typically do 205 and 60 for my bed. I wasn't sure about the color gradients and how they would transition but each color seems to blend well with the colors surrounding it on the spool, and hence the print. Nice shininess, good print quality. Been printing these cool vases with this in Cura "spiralize outer contour" mode which makes these amazing prints 1 thread wide, fragile but ethereal. Completed 11 prints with this spool as of this writing, and it has printed well on my Prusa3D MK3. I had some adhesion problems with the first print--partly the model, partly the filament, I think--but adding 3mm brims made adhesion problems disappear. The initial prints had good color variety, but that began to disappear in later prints. I think the color runs need to be a bit shorter to get more variation in a single print. ... show more

The colors are beautiful, but only when doing big prints with super dense infill. There's also no solid blue color like seen in front picture; its just gold-red-purplish-a tiny bit of bluish/green-green-then back to gold. Its also not as shiny as in the image. The rainbow colors are awesome but the color change is useless for small prints. In the photo the nice looking striped items took roughly 24 hours to print. The orange item lying down printed earlier took half an hour to print with the same filament has almost no color change whatsoever. I would love one of these manufacturers to sell a good selection of rainbow filaments where you can pick the color change rate based on the type you items you plan to print. If it was available I’d probably buy four spools where the full spectrum cycles through in like: half hour, two hours, four hours, eight hours. So only four stars because of the limited usefulness for normal printing. ... show more

I originally gave the silver a negative review, while finding no fault with the gold. It seems I needed to make some adjustments to my printer and after a long while making specific adjustments to the extruder and bed levels, I was able to print a silver item with the same quality I experienced with the gold You will love the look, very shiny and metallic. My only complaint, if any, is that the filament is a bit weaker than my black or white filaments between layers. Just be careful removing the object from the printer bed. ... show more

    • The black seems to clog the print head

The stars are set lower for print quality due to the fact that I've had numerous issues with not one but 2 rolls of this black clogging the nozzle. We all know what happens when we have a nozzle clog, makes print quality horrible. Have a roll of the yellow green silk and don't have issues with it or any other pla clogging the nozzle like the black does. Alas, it's really pretty and so I keep using it, just have a reminder in Alexa to clean the nozzle weekly now. ... show more
