This cup holder has worked well for us, but I found a better option that works with our specific carseat. It's easy to install and remove. My one problem is that it was not very stable because of the placement we need for my toddler to use it. I was a little nervous about this. I needed a cup holder for my kiddos car seat but didn’t want to risk the safety of the seat. So I got it to try it with intentions of just returning it if it didn’t work as I wanted. To my surprise it’s perfect. The strap goes under the car seat, but under where the child sits. This fits our Britax Emblem perfectly without the strap needed. I just fit it directly over the fabric. The only downside is without the strap my 15 month old can pull the cup holder off and throw it. We just put it on though so over time I know he’ll leave it. I may put the strap on next time I clean under his car seat ... show more

I purchased a different 'universal' car seat cupholder before this one. This one is PERFECT for our Britax Boulevard car seat. I didn't need to use the strap and I love the booster insert that keeps shorter cups from falling all the way down.
