I bought these for the office, the building is on a slab and it's super cold in there in the winter. We also have office cats, and they need to keep warm! The walls are an ugly blue, so I liked that these rugs had blue to "match" plus splashes of warm colors to make you forget how cold and blue it is in there. Oh I love this rug!! We needed to replace the dirty, old one in the kids area of our house, which is in our dining area of an open concept main living space. I wanted something fun, yet also attractive. I also wanted it to be "busy" enough to hide kid messes (marker spots, etc.) This rug is absolutely it. Just look at how great it looks!! This sunburst area rug adds the perfect touch to my apartment’s living room. Since I’m an abstract painter, I particularly appreciate the design. The orange, magenta, blue and turquoise, pink, light beige and gray make me feel like I’m in a garden. And the rug is practical since cleaned-up spills won’t be noticeable. This rug is beautiful and fits my space quite nicely. I am rating it 4 stars because the style of packaging (one layer of loose plastic) for a rug with an abundance of white thread is not the best. By the time the item was received, the plastic had been ripped in several places and the rug riddled with very noticeable dirt patches. Not willing to return, since I waited a while for its arrival and was able to fade some of the spots with scrubbing. But being shipped in a box would definitely help curb that issue. ... show more
