    • Took a little to get started
The trumpet and case are well crafted. There was minor manufacturing dust in the trumpet when received. This made the tuning slide and valves a little sticky. Also, no instruction manual or 'quick start' card advising of any special features we should be aware of. After locating, and extending, the tuning slide (took a little force to help this happen) for cleaning and simple valve maintenance the trumpet sounds wonderful and is exactly what we hoped for! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I forgot to mention in the video but the second valve cap got kind of stuck, but it wasn’t really a problem

i bought this as a trumpet to use when i like couldn’t take my regular trumpet places but this trumpet is like permanently so sharp that its a whole step higher EDIT: I returned this $100 DEFECTIVE item and was only refunded $6. Please do not waste your money or time in this company and item.

It sure isn’t a high quality trumpet, but if you can put up with fixing it and cleaning it out over the course of 2 days , then it will function and play pretty well. The case is compact and functional, and it is convenient for traveling with. I took it on a short vacation and got some practice in on it in the hotel room and elsewhere. Going back to the cleaning and fixing, though, I had to deep clean, scrub, grease, and oil it thoroughly for about an hour. A couple of the valves and caps were stuck and took immense strength and yanking to un-tighten. I also had to purchase some valve springs at my local music store because the ones that came with the pocket trumpet were broken and/or bent. But those are very cheap to buy, so it’s more of an annoyance than a scam. Just be cautious when buying this product. ... show more
