It's a $300 trumpet, and it was made for beginners. Ofc it's not going to sound anywhere as good as a professional. And ofc the valves aren't gonna function as good as a professional. It's only for people who want to learn or are currently in their beginner stages. Some people in the reviews are complaining about the quality of this horn. If you want something with good quality, look for a professional trumpet, not a beginner trumpet

The sound quality and ergonomics of this trumpet far exceeded my expectations. In its case, it’s lightweight enough for young students, but gives big sound. I do recommend pairing this trumpet with a brand-name 7C mouthpiece for beginners or whatever mouthpiece you prefer as an intermediate, as the one included with the trumpet is noticeably inferior and creates some avoidable frustrations.

Extremely happy with this horn. Having not played the trumpet since my high school years ... now at 67 decided to take up playing again and I couldn't be happier with my choice of horn. Great value for the money and love the sound.

I’m just starting to play again. I’m an older player so the thumb slide is understandably tight My grandson plays my Strad. For the quality, workmanship, sound and playability all are excellent. Highly recommend for a young player.
