BUILD QUALITY These are really nice. Well-made and solid. The case is just awesome. I am getting used to the controls. There's only so much you can do with what amounts to two haptic buttons (one on each earbud). SOUND CANCELLATION I find them to work really well in normal ambient environments. You don't hear anything except the music and your breathing :). When I am using my backpack blower (those things are pretty loud), it appears to not be too effective beyond the reduction you would see from sealing the ears with any normal earbud. The one thing that they really missed on is NOT including the ability to go to transparent mode. To me, that would have made these 5-star earbuds. They have this in the MIFO05's, but not in the more expensive newer model? That is a confusing omission by their product team. One of the main things I was hoping for was to be able to walk our dog on the streets around my neighborhood and hear a car approaching while still listening to music. The only way this is possible is by using one and leaving the other in the case. Also, I have not successfully had the music go to 'mono' mode when I do this. I typically use the right one and just hear the right channel of my source material. That's annoying... COMFORT It took me a few listening sessions to learn how to put them easily. Initially, I had to fidget with them before they were comfortable. Now, it's all in one motion. They comfortably stay in and never feel at risk of falling out. That's one of the main reasons I bought them (based on others' feedback in this regard). I have worn them for several hours at a time and they remain comfortable. SOUND QUALITY I'm an audiophile who has been using wired earbuds and headphones for a long time. I've owned and demoed dozens of different headphones over the years (some were top-end/expensive) and have a good understanding of what quality sounds like. These sound good. Clear, balanced and smooth with nice range (I listened to bass sweeps one day and found they had usable sound down to 25hz). The one thing I noticed with these, though, is that they are more sensitive to source material that is mastered at near clipping ranges. Certain albums/songs are done this way and the crackling sound you hear from digital clipping is more apparent with these. With some minor tweaks to the EQ in my favorite listening app, I was able to resolve this. OVERALL - I give these 4/5 stars with the ability to go to 5 if they somehow updated these to include transparency mode.

I really like these headphones. I have moved up in price range of wireless earphones. Usually I would spend around 25-60$, but the size would be too big, or the mic sucked, or my ears would get sore after an hour. I will say the size is perfect for every day carry. It is smaller than airpods. Battery life last me all day I do charge the case slightly more often. The mic is actually pretty good. I get better reception than previous bigger named pods. There was a few times it would lag or not connect to my iPhone. The fit in ears was almost perfect. I do sometimes have to switch between ear tips. After 4 months it has only become an issue where they are popping out of my ears. One of my problems is the volume. The first month is was great. I kept it at a low setting for a month then suddenly I would have to raise it to max, then I would have to fluctuate the volume frequently. I do not know if it is defective or if this a common deal. Definitely the downside for the price. I had 25$ Wireless buds that were more consistent. It does cut out and lag on phone calls as well, but not when in the first month. I could not find a way to contact mifo through the amazon app. I tried amazon but the return date was a month of purchase of course. So I may just go to the actually site and ask about these issues. All in all I really like these headphones.

UPDATE: After posting this review, Mifo reached out to me and replaced the product. That implies to me that my issues weren't typical, and obviously speaks well for their customer service. The new pair is working great and reminds me why I liked the product so much in the first place. ORIGINAL: For just over a year, these headphones sounded great and were easy to use. They stayed in my ears while I ran, lifted, and did dishes. I never had a complaint when I used them for calls either, even taking work calls walking down a busy sidewalk. But there were two issues. First, I dropped the charging case 1 time and the lid broke off. It still charged the ear buds though. The other issue is that the right ear bud became very quiet after about a year. I tried cleaning, resetting, and contacting support but nothing fixed it. Then after another two months, the right ear bud stopped pairing altogether. For the money I spent, I expected them to last longer, so overall I am disappointed.

The sound quality was good. Noise cancellation seemed non functional (see below). Worst of all, and the reason I have switched to Apple AirPods Pro, they won't stay in my ears. Right ear was worst; left ear was not as bad, but was still unacceptably loose. Worst of all, they wanted to fall out after just a minute or two of wearing them. I tried all 3 sizes of tips, and none of them sealed properly (thus noise cancellation seemed inoperative), and none of them improved the retention problems. Trying to wear them while eating was impossible. The motion of chewing loosened them within seconds. One fell out of my ear on the floor in my bedroom, and it was almost impossible to find in the shag carpet, took me at least 2 minutes. The dark gray finish is not visible enough. They even fell out when lying on my back in bed, reading, and mostly not moving my head. I originally bought these to wear while exercising. During my first outdoor walk, the right ear bud fell out before I had walked 50 meters. I barely caught it time. If it had fallen into the grass, it is very unlikely I would have found it, they are so small. The touch control button is so sensitive, that when trying to reinsert the ear buds, I would inadvertently pause the music, or skip a track, or call up Siri. Too bad.
