These are much brighter than the stock Jeep headlights, and look great too. Install was easy, and took a little over an hour. I did quite a bit of research on different aftermarket headlights before settling on these from TRUE MODS. Very pleased with them so far.

These were a breeze to install! Plug and play, literally for the headlamp itself and the DRL. You’ll need some electrical know how and mechanical skill to tap in the turning lamp feature, but it is not difficult. There are good videos out there and the directions lay it out pretty well. The only complaint I’d have is there directions don’t specifically call out how to use the included adjustment springs. Fortunately I am a former jet mechanic and could figure it out, but this could be troublesome for some folks. This product is great! Really easy to install, and run the harness wire for DRL. But if you want your turn sign working, this will take an extra time to access the existent harness wire and plug it in. Otherwise, straight forward installation.

Installation was very fast and easy. Instructions could be better but honestly not hard to figure out. There are some springs that come in the kit to install with the lights to adjust the beam, I didn’t use them for my install. I just connected them to the fuse for the DRL. Did not do the turn signal connection. I like the look of the lights they are very unique. Love the price as well, didn’t have to break the bank. I write this a month into owning them and have not seen an issue with condensation yet. Will update if it’s an issue. ... show more

    • *Edit* Good set of LED headlights for the Jeep
*EDIT* I contacted customer service and got some advice on the install. I did not wire the turn signal portion and just used some electrical tape to cover those wires on the housing. Install was easy and the bolts fit this time around so install was smooth and easy. I did not use the springs in the package as those are needed to adjust the level, but fortunately, the line cutoff was good and I'm not blinding oncoming traffic. Headlights look amazing and really change the look of the Jeep. Only reason I"m giving this a 4 star instead of 5 is that the adjustment is not on the housing itself, but you have to use the springs. The other model they sell, its the one with the dual and single halo DRLs, include the adjustment portion in the housing. I wish they did the same for this model, but with this being such a great price during Prime Day, I cant complain too much. Customer Service was helpful and responded same day, so props to them. The headlights were nicely packaged. Looked amazing and couldnt wait to install them. But that's the end of the good part. Instructions were not great, had to find Youtube videos to see if I could find a video on how to install but the only one I found was another True Mod LED headlight but a different model. Screws did not fit tight on one of the housing and caused it to become loose and hit my bumper and scratch my bumper as well as the front of the headlight glass. I'm exchanging it for the same thing hoping what I received was a defective or one-off unit. Will write an update once I receive the new headlights and will possibly change my score. ... show more

    • Superb looking headlights that work great too
These look absolutely incredible and there are sufficient instructions and videos to make install easy. I did find that the snap on hooks for the wires werent all that great - clip on holders like what the Jeep already uses wouldve been nicer on the DRL harness. Also a recommended path for the DRL wire would also help - I managed to get my first one chewed off by the radioator fan! You dont need the spring tensioned bolts if you dont have a lift, high quality hardware though . My only other con is that the lens seems prone/easy to scratch - Just wiping it with micro fiber cloth put scratches on - I dont think it is high enough quality plastic to keep scratch free - but nothing some plastx cant fix once in a while Overall DRL looks super sharp and the night time performance is very good and significantly better than factory halogens. ... show more
