The support is great and it is so comfortable. I have slept on firm mattresses all my life. 1 year ago had a mattress made for me at a mattress factory The mattress is great, but as the years have added slight changes to my body, it was time to make the bed more comfortable. The topper alone without the foam is super high quality , soft and nice looking. I used this to add some life to an old mattress. I just ordered a new mattress , yet I added this on to it anyway. This product is shipped in a very small package, so the foam needs time to rest and get back it's shape. It is very plush once it expands to full height and width, an raised for bed a bit, but it has saved us hundreds of dollars on a new mattress. We will still ultimately need a new mattress sooner than later, bit I have woken up the past few days feeling refreshed and in less pain. Highly recommend to extend the life of your current bed and get restful nights sleep! (Doesn't seem to get overwhelmingly hot, but it's winter, will update once summer dolls around) ... show more

The 2" blue foam does not cover size of the mattress, although it's very comfy, topper is nice. But this will drive me bonkers in no time not fitting right under topper, makes bed look lumpy.

First, I want to say the pros. The 1st Pro is that it is def a good thick memory foam. The top cover is definitely deep enough to cover the foam and be snug under and around your Mattress. I have slept on it for almost a week and my arms do not go numb anymore. I have a very expensive mattress that has a special lumbar middle to prevent sagging and back pain. My mattress is amazing but too firm. This topper helped alleviate the pressure point issues I was having with sleeping. Now the CONS. 1st of all…. The chemical smell! OMG it makes your eyes and nostrils burn. It is not something that can be ignored. It smells like nail polish and formaldehyde! Horrible. I almost sent it back because my lungs burned from the smell! I mean I’ve never smelled anything so horrible in my life. It is winter in Western PA so airing it outside is impossible! I tried to let it air out before I slept on it but it needed a few days to do so. I have a king size bed so airing it out in a separate room was not happening. I had to open my windows in my bedroom and turn my ceiling fan on for an entire day turning the foam over mid day. Then I sprayed it with Febreeze. It’s been a week and it is ok to sleep on, but it still has a faint smell. The topper is not 2 inches.. it is at most 1/2 inch and it is not cooling. It actually makes me warm. Overall I have to keep it because how can I return it?? And the foam is great. If you don’t want to endure the smell and process then don’t order. Otherwise it is a decent topper I just don’t understand why it smells so badly?? ... show more
