This helmet is very comfortable. If you do end up getting a hot spot you can cut out the area that is problematic. Comes with another entire cushion insert if you make a mistake or old one gets worn out. I never had to make any cuts. I forget its on my head. Helmet also has many vents and lets a lot of air to vent off your dome piece. Helmet also looks really good as well on head. I payed $150 for mine in red. Wasn’t the color i wanted but for $70 off uhh yeah easy choice. I would have happily paid full retail for this helmet. How much is your head worth to you? Shouldn’t skimp on helmets. You can save money on other stuff but a good well made helmet could save your noodle. If your not sure, just buy one! ... show more

Great helmet with good ventilation and excellent fit It has an integral sweat band that works well Excellent adjustability for fit - the adjustment wheel is at the back and tucked out of the way. Once I set it I have not adjusted it again. Includes 3 extra sweat bands and extra liner.

I've spent more on a pair of glasses so might as well protect your head. This helmet is lightweight and fits perfect. I was skeptical about spending a lot but it's well worth it.     • The Best Helmet I've Owned.
After researching 2 other high end helmets, I discovered this helmet which scored higher in the Oklahoma State helmet testing. My original choice did not really impress me and the second is so popular that it is hard to find in stock. Which brings me to the TLD A3. This helmet simply checked more boxes for me. It is very comfortable, it has the most substantial padding I've seen in a helmet and it comes with a spare. Very good coverage on the head. Love the Fidlock latch. The only thing negative I can say is that I wanted a brighter color, but that was a problem with any helmet I looked at(I hate white).This helmet is really worth a look and I almost overlooked it.
