What is NTA-8776? The NTA certification is the world’s first safety standard developed specifically for Ebike riders. NTA-8776 protects people at speeds up to 28 mph (45 km/h). This standard focuses on extra protection to the frontal and occipital lobes of the brain. What’s wrong with CPSC? CPSC is an organization created by government in the 70's to regulate consumer protection mandates. CPSC helmet standards only require that a helmet provides protection for speeds up to 15 mph. Class three E-bikes and cyclists go much faster. Am I under protected? Whether you are riding an e-bike or a standard road bike, you are most likely under protected. Class three e-bikes can reach speeds up to 28 mph. A traditional road bike will often exceed speeds of 20 mph. CPSC only provides protection up to 15 mph. What makes the Xnito helmet unique? Xnito uses an advanced grade EPS foam that is up to 30% thicker than our competitors. Next is the hard outer shell, we chose to use premium grade PC plastic. The use of PC plastic ensures a lighter helmet and superior protection. Very impressed with this bike helmet overall. It feels lightweight and comfortable while still feeling solid and well made. The fit was easy to adjust, and the ventilation keeps it comfortable during longer rides. One of the best features is the built-in LED lights, especially for riding early in the morning or later in the evening. The added visibility gives a little extra peace of mind when riding around traffic or busy areas. The helmet also has a clean modern look compared to a lot of bulky bike helmets. My husband had decided that we needed e-bikes. So I started to research the best helmets for an e-bike. I ordered this helmet because it has the NTA8776 rating and it has both a front light and a back light for safety. When my husband received the helmet he was pleasantly surprised by the helmet. He loved the fit, look and he was surprised how light it felt on his head. He said he forgot he even had the helmet on… and that is saying a lot esp. since our bike rides are in the mid morning during the Arizona summer. He has even gotten compliments on his helmet as he was riding around. He tells everyone they should get this helmet and he even tells the local bike shops that they should carry this helmet. He loved his helmet so much, I wanted to get one for myself but my head size is too small for the helmet they currently sell. I reached out to Xnito to find out when they would be releasing the smaller size helmets. The customer service is amazing. These days I have found customer service is seriously lacking with most companies but not this one. They actually care about their customers and encourage feedback. I heard back from someone within a couple hours and they worked hard to get me a smaller size helmet before they are actually available to everyone because I am not that good of a bike rider and I didn’t want to take any chances getting hurt. They kept in contact with me through the whole ordering and receiving of the helmet. They also followed up to make sure everything was good. I have the new small size helmet and it has the magnetic buckle which is pretty cool. It took me a few minutes to figure it out but I’ve got it now. The new helmets also have the type c charging cable. To me this doesn’t really matter, but I know that it important to a lot of people. This is a great helmet. The smaller size helmets will be available soon, I do believe. Now, I haven’t had any accidents to be able to say how it holds up and I hope I never do, but this helmet covers all the important parts of our heads and I do “feel” safer having it on. They also have an accident replacement policy for the helmet if by chance you do get into an accident. Give this helmet a try, I think you will be pleasantly surprised and glad you did.

Yeah ok it's comfortable, lightweight, breaths well, has excellent visibility at night with the lights, the magnetic clasp on the chin strap is really easy to use, and it looks a lot less stupid than most other bike helmets, but how well does it protect your head when you crash? Very well!! I crashed my e-bike going about 20 mph (too fast in hindsight) around a corner. My back tire hit a bit of dirt on the concrete and slid out from under me. I laid it down hard on my right side. For reference I included pics of my road rash. The hit to my shoulder broke my collar bone pretty badly and my head hit the concrete hard. I can tell you that because I didn't get a head injury at all and was conscious, aware, and alert through the whole thing. I can actually remember vividly my head striking the concrete with great force. It felt similar to good strong helmet to helmet contact in a high school football game. No pain, no head injury, no worries! The doctors at the ER where I went for x-rays and diagnosis congratulated me and told me I was smart to wear a high quality helmet that protected my head completely. If you have any worries about the magnetic clasp on the chin strap my experience is they are unwarranted. After laying on the ground for several minutes to try to regain my breath from having the wind knocked out of me I dragged myself up into a sitting position and had to deliberately unclasp the chin strap same as always to remove the helmet. The clasping mechanism was completely unaffected by the fall and the impact. This was about 36 hours ago and I still feel like I got the crap beat out of me, but my head is entirely undamaged. The Xnito bike helmet is excellent in a wreck. I highly recommend you buy this helmet!

Great way to protect your head and alert others of your existence. The shell is very nice and the liner inside is very comfortable. The color options are nice and I got flat black and the finish is nice and even. The LED front light is bright and gives you good view of your immediate vicinity at night so you can see your bike control the rear RED Led in the rear and it has 3 flash patterns as show in the video. The lights are recharged by an included USB-C cable. The adjustable clip in the rear lets you set the fit just right for your head circumference ensuring comfort and safety. The chinstrap has a magnetic clip that clicks it into place and locks secure. To remove you squeeze 2 clips and pull and it is off, very easy to use. The weight of this helmet is another plus, even with the added safety features and lights it is still lighter than an entry level motorcycle helmet. If you ride an e-bike or a reg bike at high speeds, this is a great option. All in All this is an awesome helmet that offers the needed protection for your Class 3 E-bike needs. + Lightweight + LED Lights + USB-C + Color Options + Safety Ratings Hope this was helpful!

It's been a few years since I bought a new helmet, so when I recently became a new ebike owner I figured the time was right. Top priorities for me, that were met by the XNITO helmet, were maximum head coverage; compliance with one or more ebike standards; lightweight; and a good fit with easy on/off clasps. A big plus was adding rechargeable front and back lights for added safety. Besides meeting these requirements, the XNITO also looked pretty good from my perspective and included a front visor when riding into the sun. Here are a few things to keep in mind. Size and fit are important, and when I first measured my head using the suggested tape measure methodology, the chart recommended a size medium. Unfortunately I found that too small for my head. I returned the helmet -- XNITO was great about this -- and got a size large. Now the fit is perfect. I really like the round knob in the back for getting a snug fit and the magnetic clasp up front that works fast and reliably every time. The two lights, front and back, are great, and of course are easily charged. There are several settings, but all have the front light in the "on" position and just vary the rear light pattern. I wish there were high and low settings to enable maximum battery savings, but there are not. No charger is included but there is a cable that plugs into a standard, large size USB port. I wasn't able to use my latest Samsung smartphone cellphone charger with this, with mini C connections on both ends, but I had a spare charger at home that I've been able to use. Overall this is a great helmet upgrade at a fair price. It's cool to be old school.

Finally. A helmet that mostly fits my 7 3/4 melon head. There a few mild pressure points at the sides, BUT it sits all the way down on my head. Maybe a break in period can help cure those pressure points. All in all looks good nicely made. May match my MeetOne Trike when it arrives.

I just bought a new e-bike. So I did my research for a new helmet. After reading reviews and comparing different brands the xnito made sense. More protection and has everything I wanted in helmet. It is comfortable and stylish too. I am so glad I bought it. Around the third or fourth time on my new e-bike I came across a construction site. There was a lot of gravel and big metal plates in the road. As I was passing through and I wiped out. The one thing I remember was my head hitting the metal plate and bouncing off.. At that moment still on the ground the first thing that came to my mind was “ I am so glad I was wearing this helmet”. Without it I would have been seriously hurt. Instead I got minor injuries. Another great thing is the customer service. I called them and they are sending me a replacement. Very professional and great company. I definitely recommend.
