I usually buy expensive helmets, but this time I thought I'd try a less expensive model. I ordered the smallest size because I have, for an adult woman over 5'6" a very small cranium. I was able to adjust the bejabbers out of this helmet, so the fit is extraordinarily good, pretty snug, which I never get. Great padding. I always want more padding because the buckets never fit so I end up banging around in my helmet. Not so with this helmet. I had to adjust the straps quite a bit, but ended up snipping off the loose ends, then burning them to avoid fraying down the road. Really like the throat pad--how unusual and yet something that greatly relieves any chaffing or discomfort. ** I used to race bikes in my deranged youth, so I know my way around bike helmets. This one stands out like a diamond. I especially like that it seems to come down further in back of my ears to gently cradle and protect the back of my head, from the ears back. I feel significantly more protected in this helmet than pretty much any other helmet I've had, including the seriously expensive ones. ... show more

The helmet fits great. It’s lightweight and comfortable. The soft covering over the chinstrap makes it very comfortable to wear. I usually hate helmets, but you can’t even feel you have this on. Only negative for me was the color. I ordered the C-Blue which looks very teal in the picture, but it’s definitely just a bright blue in person. ... show more
