The media could not be loaded. My dog LOVES this puzzle. See video of her calling my bluff (I mixed treats with her kibble…she won’t eat the kibble until she empties all the bottles and is certain there’s no more treats left). My dog finished the first puzzle I got her within 45 seconds the first time she tried it. She next two puzzles I’ve given her did not take much longer than that, so I had pretty low expectations for this one. Not only does she LOVE this puzzle, she begs me to refill it when she’s done. It keeps her busy for a few minutes, mostly because the bottles are tiny. I gave it 4 stars because it is very small, both in width and height, but it’s fine for her size. The cap with the small holes is WAY too small and useless, so that limits the variety. We have only had it for a week, so I cannot speak to the durability, but it is definitely not chew proof, so I can see that being an issue for some dogs. I was considering the LOOBANI, and I may invest in it in the future, as it seems more sturdy, but with the Trixie being about half the price and with how much she loves it, we are very happy with our purchase. ... show more

Our chiweenie loves this puzzle! It’s her second one of this type - and although it took her a minute to navigate the complexity of the double puzzle (pulling off the peg, then pulling out the sliding piece) - she loves it! We fill this for her several times a week and she’s still interested!!

Betty came from a shelter just a month ago and at 5 months old, she was already potty trained and has a thirst for doing things that get her mind going. She gets bored easily and this game helped her through it. She looked forward to when I pulled the game down and put it in front of her. The first few times she got really frustrated with the cones that you have to lift, but the other two activities on the board came much easier to her. She mastered it all in about a week, so we passed on the activity board to my brother’s dog to play with. She will graduate to the next level up and we will enjoy learning another Trixie puzzle together 😊 ... show more

The dog treat puzzle came out together so no assembly was awesome. I have an 8 y/o German Shepherd that only found the toy a bit annoying and i unfortunately don’t use it anymore because she gets very frustrated over the treat and award system.

This was a great purchase. My dog is a labradoodle and is very curious, so this toy is perfect for him. He struggled a bit at first, but quickly learned. This toy is fantastic. Engaging and fun - my dog loves it. It’s basically like a spinny slot machine for dogs. I do wish the height were adjustable, though, because it’s just a couple of inches too high for my dog - he works at it and tries to swat at it, but while he can hit the tubes to spin them some of the time (and does enjoy doing that) it’d probably be a lot more satisfying if he could reach them a bit better - an awful lot of the time he’s swatting his paws at them and just plain not able to reach.     • Not good for dogs who knows puzzles

The media could not be loaded. My dogs have several dog puzzles, and I thought this would be a nice complement to them since it uses different skills than the others, but they each had it figured out in 30 seconds. If your dogs are less used to puzzles it might take them a bit longer, but I'm docking one star because I wouldn't consider this an "intermediate" puzzle as described. I'm also docking one star because it actually feels fairly flimsy. The two sides of the tube piece are mostly held together by the base, and the top is just set inside (not secured). Also the way the platforms are set up, they just fall out easily if your dog knocks the tower. (Might be better for a smaller dog) For context I have two Corgis. I always supervise them with puzzles, and only one dog at a time gets a chance to play with them. They are pretty persistent, and the best puzzles (for them) take them several minutes to solve and require real manipulation and not just brute force. The video is of the second time I gave it to my older dog, who is a bit more methodical, but you can see he mostly just brute forces it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My dog solved this so quickly haha. If this is your dog's first or second puzzle this is great, but if your dog has some experience with doing puzzles, they'll do this pretty quickly
