We originally bought these because my husband injured his ear at BJJ and needed me to drain his "cauliflower ear" - gross - and for that purpose these worked perfectly. I felt safe using them, they came in sterile packaging and they're sturdy so I didn't feel worried about anything being too fragile for use in cartilage. Anyway, these were great! I ended up with more than I needed so I dulled the needle on one and have been using it for fountain pen ink cartridges and they work beautifully there too. I also ended up using one for essential oils, and I think the needle is just too fine for that purpose because it lost suction pretty quickly and kept getting stuck. I think that's kind of a weird use though that most people won't need a syringe for, I just had tiny bottles and only wanted a couple of drops from those. Anyway, these are great for lots of things and they're super durable! A lot for the price too, which was nice. ... show more

We were getting charged over $200 or urgent care and the ENT to drain my husbands ear. He does Jiujitsu and didn't want cauliflower ear, so we bought these to see if we could do it ourselves. It was so EASY! The needle quality is great, is thin enough to be able to do exactly what you need to do and is super sharp. Size and suction is also really GREAT. They work! I use these for Testosterone injections. They seem to work as well as the syringes and needles from the pharmacy. Really my only complaint is that the needles are not packaged separately. The needle used to draw up medicine should not be the same needle used to inject, except in veterinary circumstances where it is generally considered acceptable practice. I've had one needle so far which wasn't sharp, but all the others have been good. I occasionally get a dull needle from the pharmacy too, so I'm not concerned with it being a quality issue specific to this brand since it was a once-off. ... show more
