I am very happy with this purchase. I spent a lot of time searching in person and online for the right cat tree. It really is the perfect size. The top platform is very roomy and looks very comfortable. Large cats will have plenty of room to lounge or nap. The bottom condo is also spacious and cozy. It took less than a minute to put it together. It is also very well built and sturdy. The vertical design is great because it does not take up much space. It also has very neutral colors which will fit nicely in any home. The price is very good for such a nice product. Be mindful that your cat will not be able to jump from the top of the condo to the top platform. This is because of the design. The top platform is a bit wider than the base, which I knew before I ordered. Most cats will be fine jumping up and down but if you have an older cat and are concerned, provide them with a step stool or something next to the tree. Great product, my cat (and I) love it so much that I bought 2!! It is the best scratching post/bed combo I've purchased and is much better than the others I've tried. I would definitely recommend getting one for your fur baby. The unique pros of this product: very solid and heavy enough so that it doesn't tip when my cat scratches the post or jumps up in the bed; the design and color makes it discrete and attractive so your living area doesn't scream cat house (we have wooden floors and it looks great); tall enough so that your cat can actually reach up as is natural for cats and as they would do in the wild. I was a little worried about the top bed part because (other than the platform part) it isn't actually attached, but I have been pleasantly surprised that it has stayed in place (my cat is on the smaller side, about 12lbs, so I'm not sure if this would be true for a large cat). The part my cat scratches has also held up quite well. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't come with any instructions (same both times so I'm sure it wasn't just a mistake). I was able to figure it out but it was inconvenient. However, I'm still giving 5 stars because the product itself is so great. (I am a real person and not paid to write this review) ... show more

Easy to put together, sturdy, and the top bed is large enough for my 10 lb cat. I really ordered it because my cat hate’s sisal rope scratch posts and this is much softer. But because of that it does shred up quickly and makes a mess when it does, so I’m going to be replacing quicker than I’d like. That said, they’re happy & it’s just the nature of the product. ... show more

Great product for the money. My cat LOVES this cat tree. It's the perfect size for him (he's about 8 and 1/2 lbs). Pretty stable too- something I was really worried about. But if you have a bigger cat, you may wanna put some weights down or bolt to wall. Also the directions are a bit confusing. I had to reassemble after I realized it needs to be done from the bottom up. The product looks just the pics and the soft plush like material covering it is super soft. My cat loves to jump up on top of the perch and just lounge for hours. But the sisal covered posts are perfect for his scratching needs. The toy included has miraculously stayed on...but it's only been a few weeks so we'll see. He also doesn't seem to be a fan of the "house" at the bottom, but it's a good size and he would easily fit inside if he wanted to. My advice would be to vacuum it first though, as when I got it, there were some small pieces of the sisal and some carpet fibers inside. Overall, I was very satisfied and so is my Tristan :-) ... show more

This was quite the puzzle. Once I figured out how to put this together, I decided to give it 5 stars. Directions? None existent. A list of the parts description and a picture of how the part numbers assemble are there. A person would assume to put it together from the bottom up. This works only in the beginning. If you try to put it together completely from the bottom up, you will encounter a problem with sections screwing in different directions and you will not be able to get the top on. In the photo of directions, I have written out steps and sections I used to finally get it assembled correctly and tightened. Follow the steps and then assemble the sections. Also, I chose to turn the bottom cat cave in the opposite direction from the bed as this will sit in front of a window where my cat likes to nap. If I had turned it the same direction as the bed, the cave would not be functional. The height of the bed is just right for my window loving cat. ... show more

This Cat Scratching Post is Big, Tall and Nice!!! Heck it's almost 2 feet in diameter at its base and well made. I just wish that the instructions included were more than just a little one-page drawing of the parts. It could've been more straightforward if there were more details included on how to assemble it. I had to decide which way to stand the 2 post halves together, since how one end of each post is carpeted and one end is not carpeted. And I had to decide which way to aim the double thread ended bolts which were off centered. It took about 15 minutes to assemble this thing. It really is a very nice post though. Our cats are loving scratching the heck out of it but they haven't attempted to jump up onto it yet. I'm happy that I purchased this thing. ... show more
