The TRIXIE My Kitty Darling Castle will provide endless opportunities for kittens and small breed cats to play, explore, scratch, or just relax. Cats can sharpen their claws on the durable, sisal scratching post instead of on your furniture or carpet. If a nap or place to hide is in order, your little princess can crawl inside the condo base or tower which are plush covered inside and out. The top platform even has a removable ring-shaped bed that can be used separately. The bed includes a reversible cushion for added comfort; and is machine washable. Feeling spunky? Jump, climb or perch atop the platform and peek inside the plush castle tower. For extra fun, your kitty can enjoy the included removable play cloth with foil inlay.

  • PURRRRRRRFECT PALACE! PURRRRRRRFECT PALACE!
Color: Kitty Castle, beige/lilac
I read all the reviews on amazon as well as other websites about it and knew exactly what to expect. The purple color is a more of a lighter lilac purple but I actually prefer that over the stock photo. It is very easy to put together, seriously just 4 bolts and it has the tool to tighten them included. I bought this for my precious kitty "Baby Girl" who is my pride and joy for her 12th birthday! Baby Girl is a petite kitty, just over 7lbs and this is perfect for her! Like everyone else says this is for smaller cats 10lbs or under and kittens. The quality is extremely nice, the entire thing is covered in very soft plush fabric instead of rough carpet, with the exception of the scratching post of course. The plush item with the little purple kitty logo on it that hangs from the top level to the bottom is attached by velcro at the top and is a crinkle blanket. It has some plastic crunchy paper in it that make sound if your cat plays with it or brushes against it. Baby Girl loves it when I use a laser pointer on the crinkle blanket! The upper level of the palace has a pole up through the middle holding up the canopy that does limit the room in that level where larger cats would have more trouble using that section. There are two 3 inch plush beige rattle balls attached inside on a short string... though I think I'm going to cut them loose so Baby Girl can roll them around more in there or chase them around the house! The entire inside is covered in plush and the floor has that crinkle foil type material that makes noise as your kitty plays on it. On this upper level there is one large opening for the door on the purple plush area and a smaller window on the opposite side of the purple plush. The base on this upper level has 6 paw poking size windows all the way around for added fun! The top of the castle has a little plush flag that is adorable! The lower level house is pretty simple, has a removable and washable cushion and is quite roomy. I think a cat up to 10- 12lbs would fit comfortably in there! The inside diameter is 14 inches. Just like the top level the entire inside is also lined with the lilac plush. The scratch post tower is covered in sisal rope which is very nice because if the kitty ever wears out the sisal, it can easily be recovered with new sisal for about 5 dollars! It has a super comfy and VERY sturdy bed at the top of the tower which is also 14 inches wide but seems a bit smaller because of the thick cushy edges. Baby Girl uses it more as a look out point and play area than a bed so far but she's only had it 2 days. There is a 3 inch plush lilac ball that hangs down and rattles from the tower bed. The bed is about 30 inches high from the ground. The entire unit is about 33lbs, very sturdy and the most adorable kitty castle I have ever saw! I am so glad I ordered it and Baby Girl is too! I looked at several pet stores and they didn't have anything nearly as PURRRRFECT as this! And $90 with free shipping, you can't beat that for such a royal retreat! Baby Girl feels just like a princess in her new palace! Thank you Amazon! ... show more

  • So cute, Easy assembly, cats loved!
Color: Kitty Castle, beige/lilac
So cute! I bought this when I had just one cat and only had to get rid of it because I got another cat. Had it for over a year and got rid of it when they scratched all the posts clean, the material was scratched off entirely they loved it so much! It held both of their weight (10 lbs each) and was very stable. Quick and easy to assemble. Only complaint is they never went in the tower part maybe because it was a bit small, the post that hold that part up took up most of the space, I ended up taking that post out and one of them would just lay in that part like it was another bed. Otherwise they loved it I loved how cute it looked and how cute they looked in it ... show more

  • Cat Castle fit for my little king
Color: Kitty Castle, beige/lilac
Well, this castle was on my mind WAY before I got a cat. It popped up on another site and I just about died laughing. So when I ended up adopting the cat I was cat-sitting, I figured I would go to amazon and see if they had it. Not only was it available, it was also half the price from the otehr site! Plus a gift card I had been holding on to, I got it for a song. It felt like forever to get it to me, even though it was less than a week, mostly because I was really excited. As soon as I opened it my cat went nuts! He started rolling around in the bottom hide-away like it was a hampster wheel. He loves how soft and carpet-like it is and the rope scratcher is his favorite. The rattly balls are great but he prefers for a human to entice him with them. He also likes to crush down the turret and sleep on top of it - he did manage to chew a small hole in it on the first day because he got excited about the rattly ball attached on the inside. Interestingly, he's cautious of the top perch. I think the little bed makes it too high to e comfortable for him. He also sleeps on top of the fridge so it surprised me he didn't like it as much as the others. He also likes to carry the bottom bed and crinkly bag out into the living room and hold them like babies. So cute! Size wise this fits him great. He's about 9 pounds and 6 months old (we think) and has claws. He can't do a lot of damage to it, claw-wsie. He's not expected to get much bigger but it might be too small for "heartier" cats. Overall, he really likes it. It was easy to put together, not as heavy as I thought and looks great. Very soft and functional. Lots of ways to play with him on it too, so it's more engaging that some other towers I looked at. I'd recommend it to anyone who gets a kick out of it and has a smaller cat who likes to engage and play. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish he hadn't chewed a little hole in it, and those with cats who chew a lot might have some struggles keeping it nice. ... show more

  • Great Multi-Purpose Cat Tower / Cat House - Worth the Money
Color: Kitty Castle, beige/lilac
My cat is all about this. It is very easy to assemble and is high quality. It is a lighter purple than pictured but beautiful. There are small fluffy balls in the holes around the tower my cats loves to stick his paws through and bat at. They are plushy cushions provided in the bottom part and top perch. My cat constantly scratches at the rope wrapped around the perch and plays with the fluffy purple ball that hangs down. There is a crinkle bag attached but my cat doesnt really care for it. He does love playing with the top flag- it is attached with a large spring so it has quite a bit of give which Lewis is all about. There is a pole in the center of the tower so it might not be big enough for bigger kitties but my other cat, Clark, is pretty big and loves the castle anyways- he just opts for the perch instead of the tower which my little Lewis loves. If you are debating purchasing this or not ($90 for a cat castle sounds a little bonkers)-do it, this is a truly quality cat castle that doubles as a playground and cat house (and can house multiple cats at a time) and on top of that is ADORABLE. ... show more

  • Very pretty and soft castle
Color: Kitty Castle, beige/lilac
November 30, 2013 It's a good castle, it's very sturdy, and plush and soft. it's a good looking little castle and doesn't hurt the theme of the house. It is however built for smaller cats. My little 10lb fellow fits in all the spaces but since he learned how to use the dog door the day after the castle arrived, he spends most of his time outside and at night he sleeps on my bed. I know he uses the castle, because the pillow in the bottom cave moves around, but I have yet to see him in there myself. I think his lack of using the castle has something to do with where it is placed in the house, sadly for him, there is no other truely good place for the castle at the moment. Edit Dec 16, 2013 He loves his castle. It's a nice hide-out from the dog and from me, and it gets sunshine in the afternoons. That is one happy cat in a very pretty castle. Edit June 7, 2014 We got a new 8 week old kitten, and he adopted that castle, sleeps on the top perch, plays with the dangling balls, jumps up and down, he just loves it. Whenever he disappears, you know he is in his castle. Glad I bought it! And it's still holding up really well to the kitten's nails and playfulness. ... show more

  • Color is not accurate Color is not accurate
Color: Kitty Castle, beige/lilac
The pink one is the one on the left that is pink and gray. The purple one is the one on the right that is supposed to be purple and beige. Both are pink, and the one that is supposed to be purple looks more pink than the pink one does. Very disapointed, I bought both of these castles because I also have a large pink and purple cat tree and wanted to put a pink castle on one side of it and a purple castle on the other side of it, but now I have 2 pink castles just different shades of pink. Included a pic of the big pink and purple cat tree so you can see the difference in shades of pink and purple. The image of the purple castle in the listing is no where even close to what it actually is, and therefor will not match the big cat tree for photo ops. Other than color, these castle cat trees are great, the flag on the top is also not the best quality when it comes to how it screws on, but it's managable just comes off easy but for photos I can work with that, the color I can not. I didnt need 2 pink castles. So I do not recommend the purple one because color is not accurate. ... show more

  • My Kitty Darling Castle
Color: Kitty Castle, beige/lilac
The castle arrived promptly but 1/2 of the box was soggy wet and beginning to fall apart. I was prepared to file a complaint & return it but was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and the castle was not wet or damaged in any way. I put it together by myself and it was quite easy! My kitty (7 weeks old) is warming up to it and is just starting to explore it. He has been enjoying the scratching pole! I think the castle is adorable and very useful! It appears to made well and is quite sturdy. As others have mentioned, the purple color is much more subdued than the picture displays. The purple is about half as bright as the pic. and I like this softer purple color better. At first I thought that the castle would not work for my kitty when he matures but now that I can see the castle in person; I think he will continue to enjoy it in his later years. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this!! ... show more
