I loved the idea of this! Carrying around a full-size level is a pain, but having one that folded up and fitted easily in my toolbox? I ordered it. This level is made primarily of aluminum and has five folding sections. Unfolded, it is 28 inches long and there is a horizontal level in each of the end sections. The next two sections in consists of a 45 degree level in one, and a vertical level in the other. The center section does not contain a level. One potentially very useful touch to some is that one side of the spirit level is magnetized. The magnets are strong enough to hold the level in place. The level folds up to a very compact size that easily fits in a toolbox or even a pocket. Folded, it measures approximately 5.7" by 4.25" by 2" (145mm by 110mm by 50mm). Weight-wise, it is 1 lb. 4.875 oz. or 592g. Not featherweight but still lightweight. In use, the only issue as such, was that it is a little difficult to get it exactly straight. It takes a bit of fiddling to do so but it can be done. It does the job it's designed to do, and it does it pretty well. So, if you like the idea of having a compact and portable spirit level then take a look at this one. It is going to be in my toolbox from now on.

I got this because I thought it would fit well in my tool bag, compared to a traditional level, and it does! Pros: Compact. It folds up into a relatively small size. Seems accurate as a level. I compared it to my trusty craftsman level which I've relied on for years and this one seems to be just as accurate. It's useful for marking level around both inner and outer corners. Cons: It's difficult to unfold and get to lay flat. I placed it on the concrete floor of my garage and flattened out the joints as best I could, but there was still a bit of a curve to it. Bottom line: it's decent. I'm not sure if a professional carpenter or contractor would use one in place of a traditional level, but for the home DIYer it can get the job done.

What an interesting tool for leveling! Its very handy for marking several pictures in a row and for going around corners without having to remeasure each one. A great time saver. There are probably many other uses for it I haven't thought of. The magnets for screws and hooks are a super useful addition. It folds up compactly. It feels very lightweight, but its strong. In fact the only difficulty with it is that the hinges hold so tight they are hard to straighten. But then, that keeps the level stiff when you need it to hold straight. Overall, its a useful, time-saving tool.

I ordered this level because I was wanting something that fit better in my tool bag, and could carry around when doing projects at home. The unit is pretty compact when folded up, only about 6x4x2, so it fits nicely in my tool bag. I opened it up to straighten it out, and that was a little more complicated than I expected. The unit is made of aluminum but all of the joints are a strong plastic. The folding mechanisms are very firm and I had to lay it flat on the floor to press it down, then turn it over and do the same thing, all just to get it fully extended and flat. As a level, it works great. I tried it on multiple surfaces as well as multiple angles and it works great! I really like that you can measure two angles at once. The magnets aren't as strong as I was hoping, and so may not hold if you let go on certain surfaces, but still worked okay. Folding it back up was pretty easy, although the joints are really firm. I suspect they will loosen a bit over time and use. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this unit and it does the job its supposed to while being pretty versatile.

Ordered this Triverge 28in Folding Level through Vine and overall, I am very pleased. Mind you, I am not a skilled carpenter so I can't speak to the more expert technical stuff but ... This level folds up compact so it fits in my toolbox easily, unlike my heavy duty level. Able to bend so It does great for going around corners and for angles. It is constructed with heavy-duty plastic and aluminum. The joints are sturdy/strong. When opening it is easy with the exception that in order to get it perfectly 'straight' (flat) you do need to set on floor or board and push on the joints. Once straight it holds fast and when bend, the joints are great! and hold firmly in place. Super easy to fold up and store. It is magnetized which I found useful for holding screws and nails but probably won't use that feature as much unless I'm hanging a picture or something. For me, can't go wrong ... all the benefits of a level with the ability to fold, co around corners and store easily.

This level can be used in so many ways.. at any angle pretty much.. can even go into corners so you can continue with a straight light onto the adjoining wall.. its made of high quality heavy duty materials and is very well made.. The joints were a bit stiff when I got it... but a little wd40 and they became easier to open.. without becoming to lose.. This level is not only versatile but its also unique and very well made

I only owned a short 10 inch level, and when putting up pictures I was wishing for a longer one, but didn't want to store a long one. This is the perfect solution as it folds up to fit in my toolbox but then can extend out to 28 inches. As you unfold it you'll need to do so against a flat surface to ensure it's fully straight. Conveniently you can bend it in such a way to level around a corner, which is genius. Finally it has magnets to hold your screws.

I really like that you can fold this down to a compact footprint for storage. It is pretty sturdy and functions well for its purpose, verifying how square and level things are. The magnets do a good job. I’m pleased with this.
