So, we tried ordering this hoverboard for my youngest twice. Both hoverboards arrived okay, charged fairly quickly, and functioned on the surface ok. The bluetooth connected and sounded okay on the onboard speakers. Although, the volume wasn't very loud at the loudest setting. What DID bother us, is that in the title of the board it says it's self balancing. Doesn't sound key at first, but when you're new at it, it's really helpful and important. The self balancing keeps the board upright and still when you're not on it. It also stays balanced until both feet are on the board and ready to use it. Without that the board can "roam" around, fall over, and move before both feet are in place. It makes it unstable and hard to get on/off. As for the color changing light modes... we tried resetting, we tried pushing the button faster/slower, in repetition and NOTHING. The lights/board are either on or off. There are no other light modes to choose from. So, we've returned both of these Trinity boards and have ordered the Pilot model which we have had no issues with since my oldest got it. I'd recommend going that way if different light modes and self balancing are important to you. ... show more

This is my first time purchasing a hoverboard ! My kid loves it at first sight! The build quality is very decent and my kid like the shining wheel with music playing a lot. I initially got it for my kid however my husband plays it for a while, he falls in love with it as well. He is 150 pounds and the board could hold him pretty well.
