My first impressions were dubious: the head feels to be cheaply made; that being said, it fit my old Ryobi Expand-it curved shaft trimmer and was easy to install. It performed well during a brief test on various weeds, and the "bump-feed" mechanism worked! I feel that ,for the price, I'll be satisfied...but will probably upgrade and spend more the next time. ... show more

This appears to have been created with a 3D machine. It does not thread the string thru the spool like the original does. Hard to compress to put spool into head casing as well.
