I got this to help remove trim pieces in my truck to help hide wiring for a dash cam. This product comes with quite a few different pieces that could be useful in a range of different applications. It is easy to find a piece that will work well with the trim I was trying to remove. They are all stiff enough to get the job done, but importantly, the plastic pieces are soft enough that they won't easily scratch the trim. If you're rough enough with things, I'm sure these could leave scratches, but as long as you're careful, it shouldn't be a huge concern. The metal bar can be helpful as a wire fisher or something to reach through areas that hands can't fit into. I haven't needed to use the metal pry bar, but I'm sure it has its uses as well. I avoided using it with the plastic trim because I would expect this to be more likely to scratch soft plastic. Overall, I am happy with the product and found it very helpful to avoid damaging my truck. I'm sure I will get more use out of it in the future.

I am tired of breaking parts when I take my car/truck panels off, so I thought some better tools might help me next time. This set looks like it includes everything you would need. And the quality looks very good from the airbags (the big one lifted my refrigerator-picture is of them pumped to the max) to the plastic pieces to the metal ones. The included instructions were okay. Just one page and it had demonstration photos but I wish it had more info on using these tools on car door panels. Guess I will just have to do that research myself. I didn't give 5 stars because I don't know enough about these tools to know if everything I needed is included. Oh, speaking of which! As far as this order goes, I was very impressed that all of the parts pictured in the ad were included - not one omission! And the storage tool bag is nice to have.

The construction sheet that comes with these tools gives you lots of things you can do with them, none of which you will actually do with them. We all know what these tools are used for, which is to get into your car when you've accidentally locked your keys in your car. Only cars that you own, for friends Cars who have asked you to help. Never use these tools for anything other than what you have permission to use them for. Included a picture where I self-labeled the bag, so I remember what is in it when I am looking for these to help somebody out. The tools do work pretty well, but take some practice to get used to. If you've ever needed to call for assistance to get into a locked car and seen a professional use these tools, you will understand how to use them. Use the plastic pry tools to pull the door back, slip in the airbag, fill up the airbag, use the wedge to hold the door open, remove the airbag, use your constructed tool to reach in and hit the unlock button on the door. I would suggest practicing on your own car a few times before you have to use this in an emergency situation. I also added a roll of electrical tape into the kit because the connector pieces in the rod are a little bit bigger than the rod itself and can lead to some scratching on the door if you're not careful. A little bit of electrical tape will help protect the door from scratches.

As another reviewer mentioned, we all know what this is. I won't repeat those details because he did an excellent job of that. But depending on your car and "situation " I see how this can be adapted to work in most cases. Just make sure it's your OWN car or that you have the owners permission! Everything you would typically need is included. It's great to carry around but usually if it's your car when you lock yourself out, it won't help, so it might be a good idea to get 2 of these sets and keep one in the car to help others and one at home ( or better yet with a trusted friend or family member) so others can help you by bringing it to you. It's way cheaper than calling a 🔒 Smith, prob a good idea to practice with it before you need it though. I think this is one of those things you like to have but hope you never need to use it. It is a good set for the price and the peace of mind. I hope this info has been.

This is easy to use and works well. Got it because we’ve got some young/new drivers in the house and I want to be prepared if they get locked out. I did try it out on one of the cars just to see how the process goes. Was very easy to get the door open. Am happy with this and would recommend to anyone who wants some piece of mind regarding their car.

I've purchased an after-market AC unit to retrofit into my 1968 Cougar. The dash needs to be removed along with various knobs and switches. I have experienced guys who will be doing the installation, but the YATOINTO Trim Removal Tool Kit looks like it may help remove pieces that are 56 years old. I read that some pieces in this kit should only be used legally and that everyone knows what those pieces are. Well, I'm not like everyone, and at age 75, I didn't know what they were. My days of opening locked car doors were accomplished using a metal coat hanger. Full Disclosure: I received this product for free from the Vine program.
