This is not an all season quilt. It is actually pretty heavy and warm. In my experience with it, this is more suited for the fall and winter seasons or when the seasons are transitioning from winter to spring. This is for warm days and chilly nights. I give it 5 stars despite it being as heavy and warm as it is. I have a queen size bed, but I got this in the king size and the effect is a quilt that is oversized and drapes to the floor, which is what I wanted. If you are sleeping with this on your bed, it does best with microfiber sheets that are lighter than your average heavier sheet set. I also I would like to mention that this is not a sheet set that you would wash in a home washing machine. It would most likely need to go to the laundromat because of its weight, especially if you get the king size. As heavy as this quilt is, it is still beautiful, and I love it. The backing of it is plain, but the front has a soft velvet feel that makes it look as if it has a pattern. It looks and feels great and the trip to the laundromat to wash it was well worth it. I would definitely get this product again.

This is a very soft and luxurious velvet quilt set. There is one queen sized quilt and two matching pillow shams. I ordered the full/queen size in dusty blue and I am so pleased with the beautiful blue color. It is a very calming and soothing color. The quilt is double sided, with the velvet on one side and a soft brushed fabric on the other. Since the quilt is pretty lightweight, I am using it as a topper for my heavy winter blanket. I am very impressed with the way that this quilt repels dog hair. I have a 100 pound mastiff that sleeps on the bed, and I have found that the dog hair is very easy to shake off of the quilt. I am very pleased with this beautiful quilt set. It works well as a thin topper for my heavy winter bedding and will work well on its own in the warmer months.

This is a gorgeous quilt and sham set. Itโs fairly lightweight yet incredibly soft and cozy. It has that expensive look and feel to it, although I do think itโs a tad overpriced, since it is a quilt and not a comforter. The cream white color is the absolute perfect shade of cream that works for all seasons and can easily be styled with any colors/patterns, making it ideal for year round use.

I ordered this coverlet in the Cream color, in King sized. The cream color is like a light beige shade, which I like. It does not have yellow tones to it which is what I prefer. The grid like quilting is nicely done. The coverlet is a light-medium weight and the fabric is soft and looks and feels like a short, crushed velvet. It is not overly shiny. The coverlet and 2 shams had a mild chemical odor when I unwrapped it, so I put it straight in the laundry. The fabric and filling is not overly bulky and fit easily into my washer and dryer. It washed beautifully and dried quickly on low heat. I took it out of the dryer as soon as it was dry and it had no wrinkles. It does have texture of course, because this fabric is like a short velvet on the outside. The side that faces down is a plain, smooth fabric in a matching shade of light beige, with square quilting that is sewn through the fabric. The overall sIze is good and it drapes down each side of the bed the right amount. It was cozy but not heavy and not hot. My husband and I were both comfortable. Iโm happy with this coverlet and how comfortable it is. I took off one star for the smell (which came out completely when I laundered it).

This set looks beautiful and more expensive than it is. $90 current price. I wouldn't describe it as a quilt, more of a coverlet, as it's not terribly thick. It's nice and light weight and easy to wash, even with a king size. The squares are small and sewn completely to keep the filling perfectly in place. It's very soft to the touch on both the velvet side and the underside. It washed up beautifully and came out of the dryer with few wrinkles. The velvet is shiny and has lots of dimension. And last but not least, the pillow shams are pocket shams - a must in my book. If you're looking for something unique, quality, and inexpensive, that looks and feels great, this a good find.

Beautiful! This is a crushed velvet look. It was decent out of the bag and amazing after washing and drying - the wash helped to add a bit of extra fluff to the battering. Pretty medium rose shade, and with the crushed velvet texture you see some different shades in it, which helps it match/tie into your existing decor easier. Very pleased with this blanket. The underside isn't much to speak of, it's soft enough and feels like a satiny cotton. I would call it dusty rose (the backing color). It's a bit brighter than the listing photos (not as pale pink.)
