Being somewhat of a traditionalist, I was looking for a small-profile CD player for my kids' bedroom for a lullabye CD that I burned them. They only listen to the one CD, or one set of songs. I tried out a wall-mounted Jensen and a generic brand CD player from a random Amazon seller and neither were acceptable at all. I gave up on the old-fashioned CD player after I saw this unit. While it won't play a CD, it does have a microSD card slot that will play your mp3s in alphabetical order. I loaded the mp3s on the card with a number at the beginning of the file name in the order I wanted them to play. You insert the card in the back of the unit (upside down!) and select the SD input on the display. It will play from where you left off when you hit the center O button. You can skip backward or forward with the arrow buttons. It will play on repeat forever until you hit the O button again. I include this because I was frantically searching for non-existent instructions of using the microSD card slot online when I couldn't get it to play. Turns out the card needs to be turned logo-side down to be properly inserted. Also, it takes a microSD card, not a regular SD card, which isn't clear in the item description. The sound is on par with a good Bluetooth speaker. I had bought a Tribit speaker before and was pleased with it, so I felt like this would be a safe bet. While it's not audiophile quality, it is clear and has a hint of bass. I'm picky, since I grew up listening to sound systems worth more than cars, but I didn't expect this little clock to replicate those. It's also a bonus to have the alarm clock and light functions. My kids like the rainbow LEDs. Another aspect I like is that it's a plug-in unit, so I don't have to worry about recharging it. It also has a small footprint, so I didn't need to mount it on the wall after all. If Tribit is taking suggestions, I'd say to include a sleep timer for the music, the ability to set the alarm to play the music on the microSD card, and to softly backlight the buttons. All in all, a great item though.

I was fascinated by this unit and when they offered a generous discount I picked it up. For what I paid I'm pleased. However, read the other reviews carefully. I did, so my expectations were not very high. Very good audio for a clock radio. Because I mainly purchased it out of curiosity I haven't had the patience to try and figure everything out. There are many features.

It does what it says it will, and the speaker sounds nice. But the controls are finicky and it constantly tries to pair to your phone. Fine for when you want it to be paired, but annoying when you aren't hearing your notifications because they are happening in the bedroom. Wish this had some smart features that allowed you to set the time, light mode, and alarms from an app. Trying to navigate the controls are just too finicky with the touch sensitive buttons.

I bought this on sale and I'm very happy with it. I don't sleep with my hearing aids, so I bought this for my nightstand to not bother my boss. I mean wife. The bluetooth from the tv works every time after the initial pairing. The sound actually has a little too much bass, since most of the shows I watch are mostly people talking. All the features work. As some reviews pointed out, the buttons are not backlit. But after using it for a month I know where they are. I removed the small lamp on my nightstand and use the white light on this instead. The light dimmer function does work easily once you figure it out- you have to press both buttons at once, not hold one in and press the other. I've even used the 'rain' and 'waves' white noise at night a few times, and my wake up alarm is the light and bird chirps. I use the radio once in a while, eg when making the bed or folding clothes. The fm antenna/wire works well, and the 2 usb ports are convenient. Some reviewers complained about no remote. Sure it would be nice, but why complain about something you knew before you bought the darn thing?

One thing that wasn't mentioned in any of the video reviews raving about this speaker is the terribly short loops used for the white noise. Now it honestly wouldn't be so terrible if they actually looped correctly, but instead there is a half second cut out of sound each time. So you have 30 seconds of nice rain to try to fall asleep to. Then it cuts out, silent, half a second of no sound, then the rain starts again for another 30 seconds. I don't know about you, but I find it extremely jarring when it cuts out, and I am unable to fall asleep with it. So if you are like me, and one of the key selling factors was the built in white noise, then I would pass on this. You can use the Bluetooth speaker to play the white noise from your phone or something, but who wants to use their phone for something like that. You could also load some white noise on a micro SD card, which if I don't decide to return this, is probably what I will do. So this is a decent Bluetooth speaker, with an alarm clock, but there are a ton of those, for less money. I bought this wanting to use all the features, and unfortunately they aren't good enough to make it worth the price.

It looks like a medium sized rock with LED lights around it (I love the design it's very unusual) this bedside clock radio really truly rocks The sound of the Bluetooth speaker is truly amazing with the LED lights dancing to the music π€©πΆ We all have had a ton of clock radio π» β° radios But this one takes the cakeπ I have purchased nine units for family and friends for gifts and they extremely love them The different sounds that you can wake up to birds chirping,rain, water, etc FM radio, Bluetooth and more a very versatile machine And it sounds great! I think I'm going to purchase a few more units for Christmas gifts as well You can't go wrong I highly recommend it ππ»ππ»βπΌ
