It only took me and my daughter one or two hours to put it together but the one problem is that a few of the pieces did not have their markings to show us which piece they were so we’re lucky that we even put it together correctly but it fits perfectly in her room

The looks of this piece is as shown and luckily everything was in good condition inside the box. That shipping box, is also the container for all those pieces, so don't be surprised if it comes dinged up during transport. This is definitely a two person job if you want to save time. However, one person can easily assemble it themselves if the have a mechanical ability or a great deal of patience. I say, get some beer or wine and grab a friend to help. It'll be much more fun. Highly recommend you check everything for damage or missing parts before assembling. My husband and I did this as it is a gift for our son's apartment. He's upgrading to industrial elegance from family hammy downs. We disassembled everything in order and rewrapped and repackaged it. Must admitvto using lots of postal tape to keep the box closed. How can we not let our son enjoy the building process? He loves to assemble things. We have purchased similar items ( sofa table with electrical outlet ) in the past. Love the product and have convinced others to purchase. They were all surprised with the quality.

When they were delivered, they were left on a wet surface that damaged the bottom of the box. Thankfully, a thick layer of styrofoam protected the shelves. They are well made and very sturdy for something that easy to put together. I like that they aren't too tall so the top shelf can be actively used. My only complaints are, some of the pieces in the second box we're not labeled. But since I put together one already, it wasn't that big of a deal. The white metal was easier to scratch than expected. Maybe touch up paint can be included. The crazy thing is I ordered two by mistake. But the one worked so well. I decided to keep them both.

Very nice unit. My box had a lot of shipping damage. But luckily, everything inside was fine. I put it together easily by myself. It was a lot of screws. But that’s why it is such a solid unit when fully built. The metal frame was high quality. All the wood fit perfectly and assembly was easy. I only made one mistake. They included a small screwdriver with the parts. I, being the a typical guy, decided my screwdrivers must be better and started using one of my own. DON’T! The screw driver they included had a head that was designed specifically to fit ALL the screw heads in the entire kit. Use it! I was really impressed by that level of attention to detail. I’ve built a lot of these type of units and the fit for everything in this unit was exceptional. My wife was asking me why no cursing through the entire build. It was a pleasure to build something where there is no “wrong” way and every hole lined up perfectly with the screw you are trying to input into. The end result was a super solid, nice looking bookshelf, perfect for the space I needed it in.

Love this bookshelf. Not too difficult to put together, I did it twice. It’s very sturdy and the drawers open and close well. Some of the side rails were scratched on one side of the 2nd one I ordered, but it faces a wall so we did t complain.

I love my bookshelf. It's nice and sturdy and building it was ok. The drawers are large but a little tiny bit flimsy. I wouldn't put anything crazy heavy in them, but for regular storage it works great. Perfect for my home and it didn't break the bank! The drawer handles are a little sharp, mine came with one that had a small chip that I'll have to file down to not hurt myself so careful with those. I'd inspect that before building the whole thing.

You definitely need a lot of patience. We had issues with the holes not lining up and screws not wanting to go in. Some pieces unaligned It’s beautiful but very difficult to put together
