Exactly what I wanted and expected
This desk is light-weight and easy to assemble for a single person. It took me about 50 minutes to assemble it myself, and I only needed the tools provided, with one caveat. There were two holes that had metal shaving obstructions that prevented me from properly threading the screws. I used a drill bit to clear those and continue the assembly. It is definitely strong enough to hold the computer and books that I will be putting on it. Because it is mostly metal, it jiggles more than other desks that I have owned, but I am just fine with that. Would buy again
Well I give this a four-star review it is very close to me of being a five. As far as directions go they are good enough when it comes to assembly. The supports beneath this desk are easy to put together and solid. Also the surface is smooth and seems at least in this early stage durable and large for what a single person should need. However there are flaws with this. First the screw holes for the monitor stand portion if you follow the instructions, are insanely hard to line up as there is no room for you to look. To line them up I had to have my phone at a 45° angle looking upward with a lamp light turned on its side to get light in the right area to say the whole process was a problem is an understatement. Also while the looks of this is Sleek and clean, I have concerns about long-term durability of the brackets holding up the monitor Shelf. The holes for the brackets are, for Aesthetics, on the underside of both the monitor shelf as well as the desk surface layer. Because of that gravity will over time be pushing down the entire way of the monitors, the wood, the metal braces, and anything else you put up there such as shown here speakers and a lamp on those screws underneath which increases the likelihood that within several years you may find that the wood gives way. However, and I cannot stress this enough, if you know how to use a drill, Nut and Bolt assembly with washer, and most importantly a wrench to be able to tighten it properly then this could last you far longer than you expect as my experience with woodworking will explain. As the holes meet their limits and are strained you can remove the metal inserts that you screw into, it just washers to cover the hole plus a good portion hopefully of the wood as large as you can manage, run a bolt through it and a nut to fasten and tighten it. Yes you will lose a tiny bit of flat surface by doing so but the level of sturdiness will still be uncompromised. But I do not expect to need to do this for at least a few years. The only other complaint that I can come up with and the reason why I decide between the future potential issue and this other issue to remove a star, is the drawer. It is plastic on plastic which if you remember your basic science when two surfaces are made of the same material with the same level of friction it does not move smoothly. This was a problem till I applied WD-40 to it. For those of you that don't like the scent of wd-40, I recommend the low odor version of WD-40 which I used in this case. The instant it was applied the drawer moved smoothly. However given the minor issues all adding up if I didn't take away a star I'd look like I'm some account. Plus I like being able to give solutions for future problems to other people. And don't worry a bolt nut washer fix like I am suggesting at most might be a couple dollars, less if you keep spare Hardware from projects. Sturdy desk. Had it for four months so far and it’s holding up. Much larger and taller than I expected! Easy to put together.

Pretty good overall
This desk has been pretty solid for me, no complaints. I like the second shelf for standing monitors on especially. The drawer is just cheap plastic though. One side broke within 6 months of purchase, and the drawer now randomly falls off the desk onto the floor.

Small, not bad could be better.
Great desk if you have limited space or for a young kid, but it is definitely on the small/short side. It is made ok, but I wouldn't go and put a lot of weight on this desk.
