Safe for human hair (250°–375°F) and heat-friendly synthetic wigs or toppers (250°–320°F, max 350°F), with lower settings gentler on color-treated, fine, or fragile strands. Before styling, check that your wig or topper label reads "Heat- Friendly," "Heat Resistant," "Heat Safe," or Human Hair, and do not use on standard synthetic, acrylic, or modacrylic; these can melt, frizz, or be permanently damaged. Always test a hidden section first to check heat tolerance, keep hair completely dry, use low to medium heat on synthetic, and never hold heat on one spot too long.
