    • The ONLY swim vests I let my children wear!
These Super Soft swim vests are truly awesome. I'd tried other swim vests that were all supposedly very good, but I never felt truly comfortable with my young children in any of them. My kids STILL sort of sank while wearing them. We first saw the Super Soft vests at a water park, and I was very impressed with them. My kids--who did not know how to swim at the time--were able to stay afloat in the water effortlessly. They were much more comfortable in the water, wearing these vests, because they just made it seem like you were floating naturally--without the aid of a vest. The vests, while made of a very soft foam, might be a little stiff when brand new, but with use, they definitely soften up. They fit the body well, and each size is adjustable with straps, so you can get the fit perfect. And these vests did their job so well, that after almost 2 years of using them in the water, my kids have become so comfortable in water, that they were actually able to learn to swim WITHOUT them this summer. I like this vest so well, that I have even bought them for my husband and myself. They are great in Lazy Rivers--no need for an inner tube; just put this vest on, and you will float. And they're also perfect for wave pools--especially if you're not a super strong swimmer. Personally, I don't think you could go wrong with a Super Soft. ... show more

These are the best life jackets. I would not by any other brand. I have tried several other types but these hive the most buoyancy and just seem to keep the kids up. I have this in 3 sizes so far. I keep them in the back of the truck all summer. We us them at the pool, the lake, the beach, and the river. I have taken then them to several parks and had no issues with the park rangers letting my kids use their own vest to paddle boat or canoe or swim. My 8 year old says these are the most comfortable life jackets. The extra small is for your walking age little one to about 3. My 3 year old wore The xs this past summer when he was wearing a size 3t however it was fitted in width and length. If you want it to last longer and your getting it for an age 3 get the small even if its a skinny 3 year old the length is also a factor. The small is your large 3 year old to about 6. I got the medium this summer for my 7 year old he is a size 8 in kids clothes. The medium is the first size without a strap between the legs so height is less of a factor with this one a small teen or very petite adult could wear this one. ... show more

Our recent cruise vacation had this brand of life jackets on board by the pool deck. They fit my kids so well and comfortable I took a photo of the inside tag and when we got home I ordered the vest. The vest is soft and doesn’t ride up there bodies like some other vests do. Highly recommend

This is by far the best flotation device for an older toddler/preschooler, the only downfall about getting the size medium is that it does not have the crotch strap to keep it from rising on the shoulders, it does not rise much but it still rises, other than that absolutely love the product.
