  • It is amazing! this phone is compatible with pay as you ...
This phone....It is amazing! this phone is compatible with pay as you go service and contract service.. 2 sim card slots and a memory slot....I bought the sim cards when I purchased the phone (it is better to do this, you won't have any problems transferring or setting up service this way)...There are different ones to buy...just make sure you get the right one...(GSM)....Was worried about switching over to windows phone from android phone...I must say that I am very well pleased with the change... I spend a lot of time on computer and for me it is nice to have phone same way as my computer... As for other phone brands...?.I have tried other brands that people say oh, you got to get this brand or that brand...and I have found all of them to be unsatisfactory... Bottom line...If your tired of your brand of phone...You should buy BLU! There are different styles of BLU phones...so to get the best one for you...read the reviews...that's is how I was able to decide to take a chance on this phone....im glad I did... ... show more

  • If you're fine with the Microsoft mobile ecosystem, this is a great value.
I purchased this more as a curiosity than anything else. I has some rewards points and since I’m in IT I like to stay up on all current technologies. This was an inexpensive way to check out Microsoft’s platform. As it’s dual-SIM, I can use it for both work and personal use. I’m considering it as my “travel” phone. Obviously, dual-SIM is great of this purpose, and for the price, I won’t be upset if the thing get wrecked on some random adventure. Threw in my T-Mobile SIM and had it connected right away. It’s a great value if you’re one of the (admittedly few) in the Windows 10 mobile camp. You can update it easily to Windows 10 via the app from Microsoft. I’m on the Insider Fast Ring, and overall it performs decent. Not sure if it’s the OS or the phone (assume the OS) but it’s nowhere near as “snappy” as Android to IOS devices, but it’s adequate. If you’re an “app person” consider the ecosystem before making the leap. Personally, when I look at my usage, it basically only have Twitter, a Feedly app, and a few other minor things on my other phones, so the “app gap” is really not an issue for me. Pros : - Sharp looking device. - Win 10 can user as SD card for apps and data, 64GB card and set the OS to use it as primary storage. Space is not really an issue. - The OS makes excellent use of the 720p display. - Upgrades to Windows 10 with no problems. - Battery life is decent. - Hardware buttons. - Unlocked - Dual Sim - Offline maps support (It’s no not Google maps, be they’re OK) - You can uninstall all pre-installed apps (there were only a few) - thanks for this Microsoft. Cons: - Rear facing speaker- could be a little louder. - Aforementioned “app gap”, if that matters to you. - Future of Windows Phone hardware in question. - Lag in Windows 10 : just entering settings sometimes takes quite a few seconds (granted, this may improve). - Microsoft seems to love giving/taking away features. Was excited for their “messaging anywhere” concept - and they killed it in favor of Skype. Granted - almost all of the “cons” are related to Microsoft, not this particular phone. Overall Blu have a solid, budget friendly product here. ... show more

  • Compared to my Lumia 530, I'm not impressed
I'm just an average lady, definitely not a tech head, so if any of my complaints can be fixed, please tell me! This phone is just for personal use. I don't need a high end phone with a million features (they're all too big anyway). I know this phone is inexpensive, but so is the Lumia ,so comparing the two is fair. Coming from a Lumia 530, I am not at all impressed with this battery life! From a full charge, it's down to 70% after a 20 minute Facebook check. I've turned off most apps that can run in the background and the display is on low brightness. There are some apps that don't give you achoice to turn off in the background, but according to the battery saver they don't use up very much. I don't know what else I could do (suggestions welcome). My Lumia would still be at a full charge after just 20 minutes. There's no block call feature. I found that feature very very useful for avoiding those cruises I keep winning and the weird pharmacy calls. There are a few apps that don't work with this phone, nothing to cry about though. The camera is definitely better than the Lumia because it has a flash, which is nice. I've never used my phone in place of a camera, but the improvement from the Lumia is definitely noticeable. I like the size. It's bigger but not ginormous like most phones. I can carry it in my pocket still, but I do have to use both hands when I use it. The display is a nice size and very clear and the sound is nice too. As it stands at the moment, I might switch back to my Lumia but I'm on the fence. I'll keep this as a spare because I didn't spend a lot for it. If I get any tips that improve its performance, I'll update this review. ... show more

  • Great phone and definitely worth the price!
I've had this phone for 4 months now and I love it. It arrived a day early with packaging in great shape. This is my 4th windows phone and I LOVE them! It is so easy to transfer from one phone to the other. I upgraded from a Lumia 530, which I liked but was by no means a top of the line phone. This one is better in almost every way. Pros: comes with case, screen protector, and wired headset big screen is great for netflix Windows phone Decent camera, especially for indoor pics Cons: It's HUGE! Seriously, it doesn't fit in my pocket. I may be a small girl with small pockets but it doesn't even fit in my 6ft tall husband's pockets either. Overall, I think this is great phone and definitely worth the price! ... show more
