Bought it for my traxxas rebuild, had a receiver but no remote, if you want to connect the remote to your receiver hold down the red button of the remote and turn it on do the same with the receiver hold down the button and turn it on they will connect instantly, may take a minute for the throttle to connect fully but it may have just been mine, remember it is only the remote that your buying no receiver ... show more

Works great, just like the original that I lost. I tried the new transmitter with the old receiver and it wouldn't communicate, so you do need both. Once I installed the new reciever it all came alive.

    • It's a traxxas product, no surprises there but the price......
Like the title says it's a traxxas product so quality is good and it works as it should. But i guess this is my fault for not price checking but i paid almost twice what the price should have been. Amazon is not the place to get best prices anymore it seems.......
