The iD system detects which iD-equipped battery you are using and automatically configures the settings for the optimal charge. Traxxas Slash set the standard for durability, performance, and fun by which all other short course trucks are measured. Now Slash 4X4 features all-new Velineon 3s brushless power for incredible 50+ mph speed out of the box with no gearing changes required. Slash’s new low-CG chassis and aerodynamic body deliver razor-sharp handling and high-speed stability with GTR shocks for an ultra-plush ride. Take your short course RC experience to the next level with Slash 4X4 Brushless. The fan-cooled VX3 ESC is feature-packed and simple to use with EZ-Set one-button programming. The powerful V3200 motor is a model of efficiency with internal and external fan cooling for long run times. Slash's suspension maximizes performance across all surfaces with an ultra-plush ride. Slash's long-travel suspension and GTR shocks soak up bumps to put its massive power to the ground. Slash 4X4's shaft-driven four-wheel-drive system uses a rigid center driveshaft with center bearing for extra support. A new Torque-Biasing Center Drive absorbs driveline shocks and distributes power equally. The factory-installed Extreme HD kit fortifies Slash 4X4 with a full complement of beefed-up driveline and suspension parts designed to work together as a complete package. Slash 4X4 VX3’s low-CG chassis positions the battery and electronics as low as possible. A low center of gravity dramatically increases corner speed and stability no matter where you drive. The chassis is reinforced by integrated ribs that form a triangulated structure for maximum rigidity. The long-wheelbase chassis is ultra-smooth underneath to reduce drag and prevent snags. Slash 4X4's replica Kumho tires offer excellent grip in the dirt and just the right amount of slide on pavement with tough 2.2″ Split-Spoke SCT wheels. Slash 4X4’s modular chassis design allows the entire front section to be removed with just 5 screws, and the rear assembly with just 4 screws. At 50 mph, Slash must fight the wind to maintain its high-speed performance. Slash’s aerodynamic clipless body cuts through the air and increases downforce for incredible straight-line stability. Slash 4X4 features a metal-gear servo and dual-bellcranks with an integrated cam-operated servo saver to protect the servo from impacts.
